We had two tips yesterday and went 1-1
Our winning tip was the Blue Jackets to win in regulation against the Canadiens and they did when they won 5-2.
Our loss of the night was the Panthers to win in regulation against the Senators but the Sens came on late and won 5-3. This game was tied late in the 3rd but with 3 minutes left the Sens scored and added another a minute later and held on for the win.
The Capitals beat the Jets 3-2 in OT and Ovechkin scored twice. His 2nd was his 600th career goal. His is the 20th player to reach this number and the 4th fastest in history. Only Gretzky, Lemieux and Hull did it in less games.
Another 7 games scheduled for us tonight. Due to my lack of time I could only come up with one tip for tonight’s action. This is the last day of our March Break trip for my kids so I’ll get back to having a normal length of tips after today. One of the highlights so far was our family’s first Escape Room. We were “locked” in a jail in the Wild West and we had an hour to escape. It came down to the last minute and my daughter figured out they last puzzle, after I had assumed we had lost, and we beat it. If you haven’t tried an escape room I highly recommend it. We really loved it and will now be looking for more now where ever we are.

You can throw out the success either team has or hasn’t had this season when they meet as these are emotional games between two rivals from the same Province. And with the lashing the Flames took from their coach I expect a strong effort from them in this game.
