It’s June 8th, 2015 and we’ve got two excellent final series developing.
In the NHL – the one we all care about – Tampa Bay got a massive W against the Blackhawks to tie that series up 1-1. We both correctly tipped the over in that one. Game 3 is tonight, and it is in Chicago. Going to be interesting to see if Tampa can pick up a win over the next two games.
And how about the NBA? The Cavs are depleted yet they picked up a MASSIVE win last night and now go to Cleveland. Holy crap – could they do it? I’m not even a LeBron fan, but man I would love to see them do it now with so many players missing.
Alright so back to what you guys care about – hockey. We’ve got Game 3 tonight let’s get to it:
Scott: That was a great game. Despite their stating goalie Bishop leaving twice in the game, the 2nd time for good in the 3rd period, the Hawks couldn’t tie it and the Lightning won 4-3.
With the questions surrounding their goalie situation the Lightning will need to score early and often to take the home fans out of the game. But this is Chicago. They play great at home and come into this game with the series tied at a game each. They’re in great position in this series and a win would be huge.
Both games have been close so I’m going to take the home team Hawks in this one
Graeme: I would love to see Tampa get a win. I’m not too concerned about who wins the cup – I just want all 7 freaking games.
For Tampa to have a chance you have to expect them to come out fast and furious and try and get an early goal. Anything else is death.
I like this to be a fast paced game, and am going to take Over 5.5 goals.
