A good night of hockey last night but the same can’t be said about the the tips.

The Bruins were leading 3-1 after they scored 7 minutes into the 3rd but then the wheels fell off.  The Sabres scored 5 straight goals to pick up the 6-3 win. Jack Eichel had a big game scoring twice and adding 2 assists.

The Red Wings and Preds traded goals and the Wings won 3-2.  We tipped over 5 so we got the push.

The Blues beat the Stars 3-2 in a shootout in the first game of their home and home set. This was a great shootout that went 9 rounds. They play again tonight but this time in Dallas.

The Penguins won 3-1 against the Wild and Crosby scored and added an assist in his return from injury. The Caps beat the Habs which was their 10th loss in 11 games. Stamkos scored twice and added a helper in their 5-2 win over the Jackets.

A good Sunday of hockey with 9 games.

Blues vs Stars Betting Tips:

After the battle last night it will be interesting to see how both teams respond tonight.  It was a great, close game that needed 9 rounds of shootout to be decided.

The Stars are 6-2-1 over their last 9 games but 2 of those losses were against the Blues.

But I have a hard time seeing the Stars lose again.  They are in 1st place in both the West and the league for a reason.  They are at home tonight so that’s only going to help them in this one.

Stars Win

Hurricanes vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:

The Blackhawks come into this game rested having not played in 4 days.  The Canes played, and won 3-1 against the Devils, yesterday.

The Hawks have had an up and down season but they would be in much better shape if they could improve their road play. They’re 6-8-3 on the road but are 14-4-1 at home.  They’ll be looking for their 7th win in their last 8 home games.  Corey Crawford should get the start in this game for  Chicago where he is 12-4-1 with a 1.65 GAA and 5 shutouts when at home.  He also has won his last 4 games against Carolina.

Blackhawks in regulation

Oilers vs Flames Betting Tips:

Battle of Alberta games are always awesome.

This is the 3rd meeting between these teams with the Oilers winning the first game 5-2 and the Flames winning the second game 5-4.

The Flames are on fire right now, no pun intended.  They’re 8-2 over their last 10 games and will be looking for their franchise record 11th straight home win.

The Oilers are playing decent right now but they always show up for these games as it means more than just points

I do like the Flames to win this win and continue their strong play of late but their is no value for them especially when in Calgary.  I like the goals to continue in this one as they have in the previous 2 games.

Over 5.5

A miserable night for me last night. I lose all four picks, 2 of them in OT. I hate when a pick go to OT. I prefer to lose 0-6 in regulation.

C’est la vie.
So…for tonight Senators, Blue Jackets, Ducks and Blues.
Let’s try, whit my limited english, to explain my picks.
Bruins play (lose) last night and will play after a road of 500km. Senators have a good moral and is well rested.
The incredible winning series for Panthers must stop somewhere. I hope will stop tonight.
Ducks…Oh my Ducks!:)
Where is the team who beat anybody in the last season? This pick is chose with the heart, but if they can beat Flys then who?
And the last, i expect a easy win for Blues. H2H is crushing against Stars and i expect to see a speculative Blues team punishing the assault of cowboys. I’am prety sure will see a Stars assault.
Uff! That it’s.

2/4 again for me two times in a row, hoping for a better night tonight, going with my gut instincts tonight, and the 4 fold for me this evening is going to be: senators, leafs, flyers, and penguins @ 22/1.

Have a pretty good feeling on the Bruins tonight. They’re a monster on the road and always enjoy a good challenge. They always bounce back well from tough losses and last night was exactly that.

Also like the Blues. They’re becoming the Stars kryptonite, finding ways to win against those guys (4 in a row vs Stars now). And like Boston they’re a solid road team. Good value @ 3.1

Hawks/Hurricanes strong feeling in OT. Carolina is playing well and i doubt Chicago brings their A game against the Canes after a christmas break. But at the same time they’re good enough not to lose in regulation.

Other picks:
Panthers
Islanders
Pens/Jets OT
Ducks

Tempted to pull the trigger on Coyotes and Oilers but both teams are finding ways to lose on the road so not confident enough.

Good luck.
