We went 1-1 last night with a push in there also.

We had Over 5 and the Hawks to win in their game against the Blues.  The Hawks won but it stayed under in their 2-0 win.  This was Crawford’s league leading 7th shutout. Panarin scored a beauty but the pass leading to that goal from Kane was far nicer than the goal itself.

The push came when we had over 5 in the Kings – Sharks game and the Kings won 3-2 in OT.

The other games on the night saw the Senators shutout the Rangers 3-0 and the Hurricanes beat the Flames 5-2.

6 games for us tonight so let’s get to the NHL Betting Tips for Monday, January 25th

Flames vs Stars Betting Tips:

Despite limping into this game going 2-6-2 over their last 10 games, the Stars are still in 2nd place in the Central.  And they are a respectable 18-6 at home.

The Flames have beaten the Stars the last 3 times they have played but are 2-4-1 over their last 7 games.  With their recent struggles and this being their last game before heading into the all-star break,  I like the Stars to win this one to head into the break on a positive note.

Stars in regulation

Bruins vs Flyers Betting Tips:

Boston has won 4 of their last 5 games.  But they haven’t had much success against the Flyers losing the first 2 games against them this season.

The Flyers are on a 2 game losing skid and have had an extended break thanks to the winter storm that cancelled their game on Saturday night.

With Boston playing some solid hockey of late, I like their chances to continue rolling in this one.

Bruins win

Canadiens vs Blue Jackets
 Betting Tips:

This is the first of a home and home set with the 2nd part taking place tomorrow night.

The Habs have been terrible.  If not for their amazing 9-0 start they would be in far worse shape than they are now.   They are in 10th place in the East trailing the 8th place Devils by 3 points.  And with word that Carey Price will be out at least another 3 weeks you have to wonder what the future holds for Montreal.

Thankfully for Montreal,  the Jackets have has their own struggles all season and this could and should be a good chance for the Habs to pick up a much needed win.  The Jackets have lost their last 3 games.

Canadiens win

Oh my god. I was like 1-1 last night? What do they mean? My bookmaker doesn’t count goals in OT. 🙁

SanDiegoBruinsD

My bets today are:
Habs/CBJ U5.5 – neither team is having much success scoring and both goalies are solid.

Flyer ML – Scott, I’m sorry, but I think Flyers are up for this game and take it to the Bs. Tight game but Flyers will win.

Sabres ML – they come to compete every night and NYR plain out stink right now. Sabs have beaten some great teams and they’re going to take it to the Blueshirts tonight.

Yotes ML – Which team is worse? Right now the Wild stinks. Yotes are coming off a huge win vs Kings and will carry that over tonight. Wild go down.

Flames/Stars O5.5 – Just look at these records. Lots of goals tonight with two teams who can’t keep the puck out of their own zone.

good luck boys

Tough last night, just didn’t have the balls to go with Canes&Senators in regulation and went with the middle-ground option in OT’s instead that obviously cost me.. Sharks lost the lead 10 seconds before the buzzer and Crawford stoned the Blues in the 1st period when they had the chance to take a lead in a game where i felt like scoring the 1st goal was would’ve been very crucial.
Haven’t had a losing night like that in a while so i guess it was coming.
No second guessing tonight, my picks will probably raise a lot of eyebrows but that’s just how i see the games going down.
Bruins
Blue Jackets
Rangers
Flames
Coyotes
All in regulation.
Can’t make up my mind on the Detroit-NYI game though.. Probably leaning towards OT..

Good picks today guys. Long time lurker first time poster.

I agree with the Stars winning in regulation but have no idea where you are getting your odds from. I’m showing -210 (1.48) everywhere so perhaps there was a lot of movement on this game?? At that number I don’t feel it’s worth the risk.

I agree with SDB that the Sabres are going to be tough especially since the Rangers just played last night but I would take the points given to Buffalo in the Puckline.

I also like Montreal beating Columbus on the road straight up.

….ahem …..yikes

I had a 3 from 3 night.
OTT Senators Win (inc OT)
CHI Blackhawks Win Regulation
Carolina Hurricanes Win

Tonight I’ve gone with a NY Rangers Win Regulation

Coming off the back of that defeat in Ottawa last night and the post match conference Vigneault had I can see a very emphatic Rangers team take the ice tonight. Wether they are playing on no rest or not, they have a good home record and are playing a team that are 10-10-2 on the road. Rangers are 17-5-2 at home. It’s hard not to back the Rangers against a team ranked 29th in goals scored!

NY Ranger Win Regulation. Good luck fellas!
