No tips yesterday.

The Winter Classic took place yesterday.  The Hawks scored early in the first but the Blues scored the next 4 goals and won 4-1.  The experience in outdoor games did nothing for the Hawks in this one.

The Devils upset the Bruins 3-0. This was the 2nd shutout of the year for Schneider.  The stats suggested that the Bruins would win this game but the Devils played a strong game and  came away with the win.

The Canucks beat the Avalanche 3-2.  This was the 4th straight loss for Colorado and are now 1-9 over their last 10 games.  This was Ryan Miller’s 350th career win which has him in third place among U.S born goalies behind Tom Barrasso and John Vanbiesbrouck.

It’s back to a full night of hockey with 7 games.  This is a nice change for us when there has only been 6 games over the last 2 days combined.

Sabres vs Rangers Betting Tips:

Over the last 4 games for Buffalo there has been goal totals of: 4, 6, 7 and 6. The last 5 games for the Rangers have been high scoring with goal totals of: 8, 9, 7, 11 and 9.

The Rangers are the favorites for this game but something about the Sabres has me worried to tip them to win.  But with the goals over the last games for both teams I like this to be a high scoring one.

Jets vs Lightning Betting Tips:

The Jets are in a slump right now.  They have lost their last 2 games and are 4-6 over their last 10.

The Lightning are 5-3-2 over their last 10.  Vasilevskiy has been great while filling in for the injured Ben Bishop going 4-1-1.

The Lightning have also been solid at home so I like their chances to come away with the win in this one.

Kings vs Sharks Betting Tips:

These teams played on Saturday in the first part of this home and home set and it was the Kings winning 3-2.

The Sharks hold the advantage over the last 10 games against the Kings going 7-2-1.  And their home record is great going 13-4.

With the loss on Saturday I like the Sharks to bounce back in this game on home ice and get revenge against the team that snapped their 4 game winning streak.

I am very sorry Scott, I simply cannot agree about Sabres – Rangers going over 5.

Anyway, good luck.

DawsonArkiri

It will go over 5.5 since Nilsson is in net for SabreS:)

Norbert Buzási

It is still early to decide about all the plays, but I am thinking Toronto ml. I would like to gamble a bit with the Sharks-LA over5 with OT also for 2.10.

Dougall

I would take Toronto tonight…. and Oilers are going to give the blue jackets their first loss in 15 games

Pucking Hockey

Surprised not to see the over between the Oilers/Jackets on your list.

ICE_Betting4NHL

So 1-1 for me last night with the bruins being shutout did not see that happening but hey ho moving on, tonight’s picks for me are sharks, lightning and bluejackets Moneyline. Check out my twitter page @ICE_Bets4NHL for my 7 fold accumulator for tonight’s games, coming in at a tasty 69/1 🙂

Petri Kontiola

Canes, Blue Jackets, Sabres, Caps and Jets.

Jens Denmark

My picks tonight – on the back of a couple of losing nights, lets see what today brings 🙂

Rangers reg.
CBJ reg.
Caps reg.
Lightning reg.
Sharks +5 incl. OT/SO

GLTA.

OMG, looks terrible so far – I really need some third period luck just to minimize the loss – come on 🙂

Scott, I don’t hate the over in Sabres-NYR or the Bolts reg, but I can’t sign on to Sharks tip. These teams seem pretty evenly matched and it’s a division game so lots of emotion and motivation. Plus Sharks are in a pickle with Vlasic out and Schlemko likely out.

I do like NYR reg and a small unit on puckline. Sabres are really banged up with Gorges out now along with OReilly and a bunch of other guys. Rangers are clicking on all cylinders and have a pretty decent home record of 13-7.

Oilers-CBJ o5.5 – Oilers scoring has cooled down some, but they are usually good for at 2-3. CBJ continues to put up good numbers with only one 2 goal game in the last 11. Two fast young teams with lots of motivation on each side, I see at least 6 goals total in this game.

First of all I wish to all a great 2017 with a lot of profit!

Let’s forward to the first tips of 2017:

Oilers vs Blue Jackets over 5.5 @ 1.952
Devils vs Hurricanes under 5 @ 2.100

December ended with 13/26 & +0.53 units… It was a difficult second half of the month so I got a short profit!

GL to all!

Johnny Hockey

I hade some good nights. But unfortunately I wasn’t able to post them. Tonight:

> Rangers in reg
> CBJ/Oilers OVER 5.5
> Caps in reg
> Lightning in reg

Looks like Pacioretty is out for Habs. Without Montreal’s top scorer, Shea Weber all stoked to shut down Preds in his return to C&W land, and two very good goalies the under is looking tempting at +125

Hope you guys didn’t take the under on the TML-Caps game
