Only the one tip yesterday.

I had the Kings – Oilers game to go over 5 but this one stayed low.  The Oilers scored early in the first and added another to end the period 2-0.  But the scoring stopped there.

The Leafs beat the Bruins 4-2.  With the win the Leafs widened their gap over the Isles who are now 3 points behind them for the final wild card spot.

The Predators beat the Coyotes 3-1 and are now in 3rd in the Central.  With the loss the Coyotes have now been eliminated from the postseason.

There’s 11 games tonight and a bunch of obvious mismatches which leave us with terrible odds.

I’m at work now and will be for a while so I have to keep these quick to get them out in time.

Flames vs Capitals Betting Tips:

Elliott has been amazing winning 11 straight games for the Flames.  The Flames have won 12 of their last 13 games.

The Caps once had a comfortable lead for first overall in the league but the Jackets have caught them and are now tied with them at 100 points.

With the O/U at 5 I like this to go over.

Over 5

Penguins vs Sabres Betting Tips:

With a win in this game the Penguins would pass the Caps and Jackets and move into 1st in the league.

The last 10 meetings against the Sabres have been great for the Pens who are 9-0-1.

With 1st place on the line and the Penguins success against the Sabres I see a convincing win for them in this game.

Penguins-1.5

Blues vs Avalanche  Betting Tips:

The Blues currently hold the final wild card spot.  The Avalanche are in dead last in the league.

The Blues have gone 6-2-2 against the Avs over the last 10 games so I like their chances in this one where a win would further distance themselves from the 9th place Kings.

Blues win in regulation

Hey I’m new to this, what does ML mean?

BensonD

MONEYLINE It means a team wins. No stipulations such as having to win before overtime or by a certain amount of GOALS etc.. Simply put a straight win.

BensonD

3 for 3 Yesterday, SWEEP!!!

Picks for today *No money currently placed*

Pittsburgh Reg win
NY vs NJ ovr/5.0
MTL vs DET ovr/5.0
Chicago -1.5

Strange day, picks seem tough today. That’s all I can see without having to shell big bucks.

Good luck to all.

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Looks like a strong card that you have there. My only concern is Pitt as they could play down to the Sabres level and perhaps go to OT.

BensonD

I was hesitating on that pick as well but I wanted more. Even though I’m posting tips Lol

Western RattlersD

Maybe, but I doubt it for two reason: 1) I suspect Pittsburgh will want this win, they need to pick off the easy ones and not have to stress out on more challenging teams before the playoffs. (I’m trying to read their strategy). 2) Pitts talent will overwhelm Buffalo regardless?

Oliver Trigg

They’re one point off first – I reckon they’ll play for that and play well.

Johnny Hockey

Great games tonight – Seems to be easy:

> Flames/Caps OVER 5.0
> Rangers ML
> Bruins/Senators OVER 5.5
> Lightning -1.5
> Canadiens in regulation
> Blackhawks -1.5
> Blues in regulation

BensonD

Flames/Caps seems like a decent pick as well.

Johnny Hockey

Devils/Rangers OVER 5.0 looks good too

Oliver Trigg

I agree. Just hope no upsets! $40 pays out around $750 on that combo.

Johnny Hockey

I edited the post. I don’t play combos. Only single 🙂

BensonD

Combos can be good. I found I could profit more on multiple single bets and place a very small combo for those big payouts.

Petri Kontiola

Senators, Panthers, Capitals and Sharks.

Western RattlersD

WINS In Regulation: Pittsburgh, Montreal, Chicago, St. Louis
(avoiding Rangers due to their inconsistency (related to having a relatively safe and isolated Wild Card spot?)

Leans for Under: Pitts, Rangers

LostRebel

Lots of losers. Worst night in a long time. I may shut it down until playoffs. Teams are really not showing up and playing unpredictably.

Lmao. What a night NHL. Teams aren’t showing up. Anybody have AZin regulation? Vanc PL? Devils ML? Probably not. If you did, take a bow.

Matthew

Wings ML would be a good one as well

Henry Del Valle Sr.

Yes I forgot them. Howard has been very good since coming back. Wings can beat some very good teams (wins against BHawks, Pens and now Habs) and then play like hot garbage against bad teams.
