It was another great day with the betting tips. In our one joint pick of the day, we went 1-0 thanks to the Ducks winning. Individually, Graeme went 2-0 and Scott went 2-1.
It was quite an interesting day in the NHL, that was for sure. The Montreal Canadiens lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 in an interesting game. It was rife with penalties, but Tampa Bay capiatalized with a whopping 4 power play goals which was the difference maker.
The Minnesota Wild succumbed to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 in a complete thrashing. Kane scored twice in that game.
The Calgary Flames were dominated by the Anaheim Ducks. Flames did play well – but they were just outclassed as expected. It’s funny seeing the reactions of Flames fans who are absolutely furious; be happy FFS. Your team have played above and beyond just to get in the playoffs!
We have just one game tonight, with the New York Rangers playing the Washington Capitals. That is Game 3 of the series, tied 1-1. Tomorrow night we have two games, with the Chicago Blackhawks heading to Minnesota, and the Calgary Flames hosting the Ducks. Both home teams are behind by 2.
Rangers vs Capitals Betting Tips:
Scott: With two games played, this series is going to be a close one. I’m having a tough time predicting the winner of this game. Of the Rangers first 7 games, 6 have stayed at or below 5 goals. The Capitals have had 7 of their 9 games stay at or below 5. I’m going to go with the trend here. Under 5 for 1.74
Graeme: At home against the Islanders, the Capitals lost 4-1, won 4-3, won 5-1, and won 2-1. On the road against Pittsburgh, Rangers won 2-1 both times. Other than that first game where Capitals were lacking motivation and thought just showing up was all that mattered – they played some excellent hockey. Rangers will play a more tighter, cautious game on the road. I expected this line to be under 1.80, but I feel Capitals to win 1.90 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. is some solid value.
