A nice quiet night of hockey – which is what we were hoping for, as we went 3-0 in the betting tips.
We won with the Grand Salami Under 65.5 where I predicted 58-61 goals and the NHL managed to scrape in just 58 goals last night. Oilers vs Kings Under 5.5 and Flames vs Bruins Under 5.5 also came in to make it a perfect night.
While it was a nice quiet night in hockey, it was quite an exciting time here in town involving a massive fire and a helicopter rescue of a man stuck on a crane! This all took place just a few minutes away from me and was quite crazy – you could smell the smoke for miles.
Also how can you not love this amazingly placed Tim Hortons sign:
Love it when stuff like that happens. The sign, not massive fires!

So after a busy night of hockey, Wednesday December 18th 2013 has just two games. The Senators, who last beat the Devils in mid-October 5-2, head to New Jersey for the 2nd of 3. Penguins were utterly destroyed by the Rangers 6 weeks ago 5-1, and they’ll be looking at revenge tonight.
Penguins vs Rangers Betting Tips: Penguins to Win
Pittsburgh are going into this one as underdogs, with 1.95 odds compared to 1.86 to win for the New York Rangers. As mentioned, last time out the Rangers beat the Penguins 5-1 here in a game where Pittsburgh outshot the Rangers, but just didn’t have any luck in front of net.
Pittsburgh are on a nice 4 game winning streak, with some solid wins over the likes of Toronto, Detroit and the Blue Jackets. The Rangers are going into this one after a lot of struggling games and a few big losses, like against the Predators and the Capitals.
Pittsburgh are ravaged with injuries at the moment, but you wouldn’t even think that based on their performances, and the players pulled up from the AHL are really working well together. Rangers on the other hand – the team seems to be lacking in chemistry and cohesion at the moment.
Rangers always give the Penguins a tough game, but I like the Penguins to pick up another big road win. Back the underdogs Pittsburgh at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..
No tips tonight for Devils vs Senators.
