Wow. I can’t believe it’s December already. And it’s interesting to see the standings at this point in the season. There are two teams in each conference that stand out, one for having an amazing start and the other for failing.

In the East the team that has stood out is the New York Islanders. They have waited a long time for their young players to finally emerge as legitimate NHL stars and the patience has paid off. They are in third in the Metro.

The Eastern Conference team who has failed to meet expectations the most is the Washington Capitals. They have the ability to score and brought in some much needed defensive help yet are on the outside looking in. Also have to mention the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins.

In the West it’s the Calgary Flames who have been the biggest surprise. They have no business being as high in the standings as they are but they deserve it. They sit in 3rd in the Pacific and continue to compete with some of the strongest teams in the West.

Without question the Colorado Avalanche haven’t lived up to their expectations. After tearing up the league last year on route to the having the best record in the Central Division, arguably the toughest in the NHL. As of today they’re in 11th place in the West and have lots of ground to gain to get back into the playoff picture.

We went 1-0 last night when we tipped the Canucks – Red Wings game over 5 goals. 4 goals in the third period alone helped us breeze to the win when the Wings won 5-3.

From one game last night to a much better 5 tonight. The Sports Interaction bet may still be active for a day or two so could be great for the people who missed out on the free money to get it now!

Let’s get to the NHL betting tips for Monday, December 1st

Lightning vs Rangers Betting Tips

The last time these teams played it was the Lightning coming away with the 4-3 win on November 26th.

The Lightning are looking to win their 4th in a row and currently sit in first place in the East.

The Rangers are going for their 3rd win in a row and are in 3rd in the Metro.

With both teams playing great right now and looking to extend their respective winning streaks this has the potential for game of the night.

This is going to be a good, fast paced game and you have to expect the goals to come in bunches.

Going to go with Over 5.5 for 1.95 at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.

Canadiens vs Avalanche Betting Tips

Not sure if you heard or not but the Montreal Canadiens just lost two games in a row to the Buffalo Sabres.

The Habs owe it to their fans and themselves to come out swinging in this one and remind everyone why they sit so high in the standings.

It’s because of their recent struggles, a three game losing streak, that the Moneyline win for the Habs is 1.83.

Big bounce back game and the Habs Win at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.

That’s all for tonight. We are on the fence for the other three games. Bruins vs Ducks is tough to predict as is the Coyotes vs Oilers. If we had to pick a winner for each game I personally would go with the Bruins, Oilers and Jackets.

hello scott, thanks to you guys for yesterday’s tip, will like your opinion on these bets, what do you think, Tampa Bay Lightning +1 and Florida Panthers +1 as a double to give 2.3, is there a good chance the inform teams get a draw at the end of regulation
