Ah – how I love Saturday. Nothing like some early NHL games to really kickstart the day. Today we’ve got two with the Bruins hosting the Hurricanes, and the Flyers against the Penguins which should be a good game.

After a really hot month tips wise, variance was sure to hit us and it did last night as we went 1-2. Scott nailed the Rangers win as Hagelin put up a hat trick, but Dallas blew a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period, and the Blackhawks looked flat against the Predators.

And if you’re looking for an example of variance – look no further than the Ducks vs Avalanche game, where you have a period with 0 goals, a period with 1 goal, and oh – just a period with NINE GOALS.

Before I get into todays tips – not sure if anyone here is into the F1 racing or not, but if so I’ve set up a website called F1Betting.Tips . It’s pretty bare bones at the moment but I’ve got the most important thing which is Australian Grand Prix 2014 Betting Tips. Quick note about them – after the qualifying today and Massas’ starting position – probably not value on him anymore. I’d look for top six for him can’t see him winning from that position.

Alright it’s Saturday, March 15th 2014. A sick weekend of sports is ahead. EPL, NHL, NCAA Basketball, NBA, UFC 171(bet on Robbie Lawler!), F1 and I’m sure a few other sports to pass the time. Great weekend to be a sports fan. Let’s get to the NHL Betting Tips:

Blues vs Predators: Blues in Regulation

St Louis always match up very well against the Predators, and 4 wins out of 4 have proven that this season. I like them picking up their 5th win and a clean sweep on the road in Nashville, and in regulation time at 1.90 odds.

St Louis are refreshed after an easy 6-2 win 2 nights ago against the Oilers, while the Predators played last night. Although they did pick up a big win over Chicago they’re going to be tired, and I don’t think we’ll be seeing Rinne starting tonight. I’d be surprised anyway.

Blues are one of the top road teams in the NHL, and I like them to do the business here.

Grand Salami: Under 49.5 Goals

Looking at the games today – it’s hard to see too many games where there will be consistently a lot of goals.

I like Under 49.5 goals for today, with a high of around 47 goals in my estimation.

You can bet that at 1.90 odds at http://www.5Dimes.eu(Need to register to see lines).

Senators vs Canadiens: Over 5.5 Goals

Running short on time here so going to make these quick – these games are always fast paced with a lot of offense and a heated crowd. The odds on it are 2.05 for Over 5.5 which is great value in my opinion, back that one.
