Slow night of hockey last night, sorry for no tips.

It was the Tampa Bay Lightning vs the New York Rangers. This was the first time that former Ranger captain Ryan Callahan played his former team and he reminded the Rangers of what they once had. He scored twice in the 5-1 Lightning victory. But the player that Callahan was traded for, Marty St Louis, scored for his new team so that must have eased the pain a little.

A much better night of NHL action for us to enjoy with 11 games.

The Penguins take on the Canadiens for the first time this season and should be a good game between the Eastern Conference Division leaders. Stamkos and the Lightning vs Tavares and the Islanders with the Lightning win still fresh on the Isles minds. The Leafs welcome the Predators into town with the Leafs trying to avoid a 3 game losing streak.

Let’s get to the NHL Betting Tips for Tuesday, November 18th.

Lightning vs Islanders Betting Tips

These teams played each other for the first time this season only 4 days ago with the Lightning coming away with the 5-2 win.

This game features a bunch of young talent who can, and do, score goals. Stamkos is playing like a healthy Stamkos. Tavares and the rest of the Isles are finally reaching the potential that Isles fans have been patiently waiting for.

Both teams average over 3 goals a game with the Lightning holding the edge 3.74 – 3.18 goals per game. The Lightning have scored the most goals so far this year

If betting on a winner of the game we would have to go with the Islanders thanks to the Lightning playing on back to back nights where the Isles are rested and looking for payback with their last game being the one they lost to Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Ducks vs Flames Betting Tips

The Ducks are looking to end the losing streak at 2 games having lost their previous two games to the Kings and the Panthers, yes the Panthers. A team as stacked as the Ducks won’t have many of these losing streaks this year.

Both teams are banged up right now with the Flames having 5 players on IR and the Ducks 7.

But even still this is the Ducks. They have the depth to get through all of their injuries. They will end their streak at 2

Capitals vs Coyotes Betting Tips

I must sound like a broken record when talking about the Washington Capitals. I keep saying that this team should and will be contender this year yet at almost the quarter mark of the season they are still on the outside looking in.

It is baffling that a team this loaded with talent is having so much trouble this year. People continue to question Ovechkin and if he is coachable. I think he is. He is his own biggest fan and wants to win on the biggest stage in the world of hockey. This is a long season so at some point they are going to turn it on.

Does over 6 include “6” ? or is it actually 6.5?

BetNHL.ca

Over 6 means:

Less than 6 goals in a game: Lose bet.
Exactly 6 goals in a game. Push.
Over 6 goals in a game: Win bet.

If it is exactly 6 and thus a push, then we get the money we bet back.

Canadians have a decent price for a home win with price in net. Granted they playing pitt, but think its worth a unit?
