We went 1-1 last night with the tips. The Minnesota Wild picked up the win over the Senators in a hard-fought battle, but unfortunately the Blue Jackets and Flames did not come close to going Over 5.5 with both goalies not having too much to do.
And Scott has constantly reminded me today that his tip of the Penguins/Capitals to have a goal in 9:30 won, so if you followed his tip it was a good night for you.

10 games on the board tonight. Lot of interesting ones with Oilers against Panthers and the Edmonton faithful having a bit of hope they can string together another win. Bruins vs Blues in what should be a hard hitting game, and Sabres vs Flyers in a really interesting matchup.
Let’s get on with the NHL Tips for November 21st, 2013:
Grand Salami: Under 54.5
There’s a lot of interesting matchups tonight and I can see the majority of them hitting 5 goals maximum. I think we’re going to see a lot of tight play tonight and a low scoring evening, and recommend backing the Salami Under.
Leafs vs Predators: Leafs -1.5
Really like the odds of this one – Leafs -1.5 are 3.00 at http://www.carbonsports.ag. You can also bet them at 1.66 odds if you feel like playing it safe.
Last time these two teams played the Predators got a fair amount of shits but could not get past Reimer and the Leafs won 4-0. Nashville have had a couple of good last two games beating both Detroit and the Blackhawks. Leafs are also on a nice tear beating the Sabres 4-2 and the Islanders 5-2. And now Kadri is back.
Where the Predators strength lies lately is in the penalty kill. However Leafs have the 3rd best powerplay in the NHL, and I’m feeling confident their line is going to dominate the Predators PK line. It looks like Bozak may be back too which would be nice, but I’m not counting on that.
Either way – back the Leafs -1.5.
Blackhawks vs Jets: Blackhawks to Win
Getting nice odds on this one – 1.74.
Blackhawks are looking to bounce back after the Avalanche game and this is the perfect matchup for them. The Jets have thrown in some solid performances lately, but Blackhawks just seem to match up incredibly well with the Winnipeg Jets. Hawks have destroyed them in the previous two games, and we like the Blackhawks to come out firing night and take the win.
