We went 1-1 with the actual game tips last night in too thrilling games. We had the LA Kings to beat the Nashville Predators. That was a very competitive game that went back and forth, and unfortunately the Kings lost it in the shootout.

We had quite the amusing win in the Coyotes vs Avalanche game. That was Scotts pick completely – and the Coyotes were up 3-0 after the 1st period. I was sending him many abusive and taunting texts due to his whole “I Believe in the Avs” speech he gave me yesterday – and then I was eating crow as the Avs came back and win in overtime.

Very nice to see that though – I fell in love with the Avs last season and it’s been sad to watch them this season for large parts of it.

Home Teams -2.5 just couldn’t cover unfortunately for those who bet that.

If you didn’t see it – you need to see Malkin on Fleurys 300th career win. Just tremendous.

And of course – the Dallas Stars top petroleum products.

9 games tonight. Avs hope to continue mounting a challenge at home to the Blackhawks. Penguins host the Leafs, and Calgary hope to get back on track against the Sharks. Should be a good night of hockey.

Winnipeg Jets vs Buffalo Sabres Betting Tips:

I like to ride teams with hot streaks and so I’m….I’m….tipping the Buffalo Sabres? What kind of bizarro world BS is this?

Clearly THIS is the darkest timeline.

But we have to ride Buffalo here. Jets have a good history against the Sabres(7-2 since 2011) but Sabres are playing with a lot of belief. They’ve beaten 3 solid teams in Leafs, Sharks and Capitals and have had a lot of rest. They’re going up against the Jets who are on a back to back, after a hard fought game against Columbus last night.

Take the Sabres here. They’re underdogs at 2.35. And if you like betting for value – at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com. you can change the handicap. Sabres -1 is 3.75 which is pretty damn good. What that means is if Sabres win by 1 then you get your bet back – we’d recommend getting on that too.

Islanders vs Capitals Betting Tips:

Capitals may be without Ovechkin tonight. Then again even if he’s playing there’s been a lot of nights where you’d assume he wasn’t anyway.

Islanders are a beast at home – my system has them rated as the best home team in the NHL at the moment. They’ve cleaned a lot of clocks here and we like them to add the Capitals to that list.

Take Islanders in regulation at 2.10 odds.

Lightning vs Rangers Betting Tips:

St. Louis makes his return to Tampa, and this should be a great game. We’re hoping this will be a competitive affair – we could argue both teams to win, and we’re going to take Over 5.5 at 2.10 odds in this one.

$20 Free Bet – Ends November 30th:

Our $20 free bet at Sports Interaction expires the end of this month.

You NEED to take advantage of it now. Remember it’s just for Canadians.

Here’s the link: Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com..

And stay tuned for a December contest!

Graeme what are you thoughts on Detroit red Wings to win in regulation

BetNHL.ca

It looks good on paper. Datsyuk back – probably won’t be fully fit but still a lift to the team, and Weiss stepping up. Hell of a line. Detroit a beast at home and Howard in net. Mason stepped up big against Islanders but I can’t see him having another game like that.

they won 5-2
