That was an intense night of NHL action. We managed to go 2-1 for the night but were oh so close to going 1-2

We had the Stars to win against the Canucks and they did with ease. They scored 5! unanswered goals to start the game and didn’t look back winning 6-3.

Next we has the Rangers to beat the Devils. This was a true nail biter. The Rangers scored 1st only to have the Devils answer with 3 of their own. It wasn’t until halfway through the 3rd that the Rangers finally came to life scoring twice to send it to extra time. Halfway through the OT period the Rangers scored to win 4-3.

Our loss of the night came from the Wings vs Habs game. We picked over and the game ended 2-1 Montreal in OT. It was looking like it was the Wings who were going to win the game as the lead 1-0 from the half way point. But Galchenyuk scored with just over 3 minutes left to send it to OT where the Habs sealed the deal.

Other big games: the Leafs beat up the Isles 5-2 to get back in the win column, the Bruins beat the Sharks 5-3 and the Lightning needed extra time to beat the Flames 2-1. All in all 5 games need extra time so a nice, tight night of hockey.

There are 4 games scheduled for us tonight but some HUGE match ups for us to enjoy: the Leafs vs Sens are always a blast as are the Flyers vs Penguins. Also the Capitals are in Edmonton to take on the Oilers and the Sabres take on the Ducks.

Let’s keep the streak going with the NHL Betting Tips for Wednesday October 22nd

Ducks vs Sabres Betting Tips

The Ducks look great so far. They’re in first place in the Pacific Division and have scored 21 goals in 5 games.

The Sabres are in last place in the Eastern Conference and have only scored 8 goals in 6 games.

There really isn’t much to say about this game. It’s a total mismatch

Let’s go with the Anaheim Ducks -1.5 for 1.76 odds at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.

Flyers vs Penguins Betting Tips

These battle of Pennsylvania games are amazing. These teams hate one another and it shows when they play each other.

It doesn’t matter where each team sits in the standings when they play each other. They always find an extra gear.

The Flyers are off to a rough start going 1-3-2 to start the season but that has kind of become the norm for this team and its only a matter of time before they make a big roster move and get back into competition.

The Penguins are playing like the Penguins. 3-1 after 4 games.

Going to be a good game to watch and I like the healthy Penguins to take advantage of the banged up Flyers

Bad odds for a Pens win at 1.42. So let’s go with a Penguins Win In Regulation for the much better 1.74 Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.

That’s all for today. The other two games are tricky. Much like the battle of Pennsylvania, the battle of Ontario is anyone’s game. And the Oilers picked up their first win so do they start a streak? Against the Caps it’s going to be tough. If I had to pick I’d take the Leafs and Caps but pretty risky.

Love the caps tonight, this is a game the oilers lose by 3, although could be an emotional night due to today’s events
