We were so close to 3-0 last night, but unfortunately the Kings took just 1 extra minute to get a goal in the game against the Blues. We had a goal before 9:30 in that game, and the Kings scored at 10:38.

We won our other bets though with the Rangers scoring first against the Winnipeg Jets, and the Canadiens defeating the Devils in a solid game. The Devils took the lead and also tied it up, but the Habs showed some solid form to take the victory.

Busy night of NHL tonight with 9 games on the board. Before we get to that I’d like to remind everyone about the BetNHL December Dynasty contest – win an XBox One, PS4, $200 and various other prizes. You have until after tomorrow nights games to sign up then it’s over and done with!

WIth so many games there’s a possibility we will release a tip later on – so be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Islanders vs Penguins: Over 5.5

This matchup always seems to bring out the goals. They’ve played twice already this season, with the Islanders winning 4-3 in Pittsburgh, then the Penguins winning 4-3 at home.

Now we’re in New York for the 3rd of 4 matchups between the two, and we still like the over in this one.

Pens should win this one, but based on past results between the two we have to go with Over 5.5 goals.

Other bets you may want to consider are a Goal before 9:30. But we’re sticking with the over, hoping this brings out the best of the Islanders and we get another thriller. Back this at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..

Sharks vs Leafs: Sharks to Win

San Jose are kicking off a 4-game road trip in Toronto tonight. They’re bringing a goodie bag full of form to Ontario, with 8 wins in their last 9 games and the only loss being to the Blackhawks. A 5 game home stint really helped them and they looked great.

Toronto on the other hand – not so much. They’ve been poor lately to the point that most Leafs fans have already written them off, and I just hope Phil Kessel doesn’t go online much because there is a lot of hatred going his way at the moment.

Toronto can sometimes rise to the big occassion, but I just can’t see it here. The Sharks have been playing incredibly well with some real free flowing hockey. With this being the 1st game of their road trip they know how important a win will be, and will be doing everything they can to keep the good times going. Back the Sharks at 1.62 odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..

Blackhawks vs Stars: Blackhawks in Regulation

On this one we’re backing that the Blackhawks will win in regulation time. If you back the Blackhawks just to win overall it’s 1.45 odds. The odds on a regulation win are 1.76 as of this writing which are nice and big – probably based on the game between these two going to overtime a few nights ago.

Chicago are at home in this, the 3rd meetup against the Stars. The Blackhawks have been playing very well – especially Kane, and with this, their first game in Chicago since November 17th – we like them to put on a show and win this game decisively.

Back the Blackhawks to win in regulation – back this one at http://www.carbonsports.ag.

Leafs are bouncing back tonight, and leafs nation never writes them off. GO LEAFS GO

I see Clarksons moved to the 3rd line. Maybe now with a bit of pressure off he’ll start bringing the goods.

Agreeed he needs to bury. I am just really hoping they get back to their hard hitting identity. When the leafs play hard out the gates they are one of the tougher teams to play against, hopefully the boys in blue come through at 2.35…
