Yet another great night of hockey last night and a decent night of tips as well. We went 1-1 but our winning tip was a great 2.40 odds so it was a winning night value wise. The Maple Leafs managed to win 4-2 to cover the Handicap and redeem themselves from the embarrassing performance from the previous night but it was a close one. Mason Raymond scored a powerplay goal with a minute left in the game to seal the deal. Remember when the Blackhawks were good? Well last night they played horrible in Kris Versteeg’s return to the Hawks getting blown out 7-2 by the Predators. To say the Blackhawks shit the bed would be an understatement.

Other news from last night’s action: Jaromir Jagr scored twice to help the Devils upset his former team the Penguins 4-1. The battle of Alberta went the Oilers way when they beat the Flames 4-2. Florida beat Colorado 4-1 in a major upset. Alex Steen and the St. Louis Blues continued their strong play beating the Hurricanes 4-2. Steen has been unreal so far this year scoring 17 goals to lead the NHL.

Today we have 6 games on tap and a few could be really close. We went back and forth and really struggled with the tips for today. There are just so many close games it was hard to agree. But we did agree on 2 so today we will only have 2 tips. Just goes to show you how incredible today’s games are going to be. So be sure to peel yourself away from the CFL Division Finals long enough to enjoy some hockey. Go Argos!!

Blue Jackets vs Senators: Senators to Win

You gotta like the Sens chances for a win in this one. Not only are they expecting Bobby Ryan back but the Jackets are going to be without Marian Gaborik for at least the next month with a knee injury.

The Blue Jackets are also currently on a 3 game losing streak but the funny thing is the 3 losses have come in overtime so even though they can keep games close they still manage to lose and without their best player things aren’t going to get any easier.

Sharks vs Blackhawks: Over 5.5

This game is going to be a good high scoring game. Not only are the Hawks going to be looking to bounce back after their horrible performance last night they are playing a team that is breathing down their necks in the standings. The Blackhawks have Captain Serious (Toews), who hates losing more than anyone in the league so expect a strong game from him. Plus as always when the Hawks are at home they have the lunatic fans going bananas and both teams will be putting on a show for them in this one.

The Hawks are tied for first overall in goals scored in the league while the Sharks are tied for second. So I’m not sure who will come out on top in this game, one thing is for sure there will be goals.
