2-1 last night for the tips.

First off we had the Canucks vs Canadiens game to go Over 5 and this came through when the Habs beat the Canucks 4-3 in OT.  I had mentioned that I liked the Habs to win but wasn’t confident enough to tip them in regulation as there was no value for them to win the game including OT.

We had the Ducks to win against the Hurricanes and Anaheim continued to own Carolina when they won 4-1. Ryan Getzlaf scored his first goal of the season,  an empty net goal at the end of the game, and now with that out of the way I’m sure he will start to play the way we have all expected him to over his NHL career.

The loss on the night came when we had Over 5 in the Lightning vs Panthers game.  And after the game they had on Saturday I expected it to pick up where the left off.  Well I couldn’t have been more wrong.  The Panthers won 1-0 thanks to an Ekblad goal with under 30 seconds left in the 3rd.

Another good night of NHL action for us with 8 games scheduled. Let’s keep the streak going with the NHL Betting Tips for Tuesday, November 17th.

Stars vs Sabres Betting Tips:

Both teams have looked good over their last 10 games.  The Sabres have been the better team when they’re at home facing the Stars going 6-1-1.

But the Stars are really clicking right now. They’re 1st in the West, 2nd in the league and are 8-2 over their last 10.  They know that Buffalo gives them trouble when they visit them so they’ll be looking to end that tonight.

Stars in regulation is the tip for this one.   It’s hard to bet against the Stars at the moment.  Seguin and Benn are beasts and John Klingberg is leading all defenseman in points.

Avalanche vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:

Maple Leafs Win is the tip for this game.

They have Reimer back in goal and he has been good for Toronto so far this year.   He has won 3 games in a row and has a 2.30 GAA on the year.

The Avalanche have won the first 3 games of their season high 7 games road trip.  But even the best teams in the league have a hard time winning this often on the road and they’re due for a road loss.

Before their loss to the Rangers on Saturday,  the Leafs had won 3 straight and seem to be finding their way under Mike Babcock.

Wild vs Penguins Betting Tips:

They started the season slowly losing 3 in a row , followed that with a 9-1 run over 10 games and now have lost 3 of their last 4 games.  They are having problems scoring and for a team as stacked as Pittsburgh is this should never be a problem.  So the team had a closed door meeting to address, and hopefully fix, their issues.

The Wild are without Parise but are 3-1 since his injury.  Their 3 wins came against slumping teams, the Lightning, Hurricanes and Jets so tonight will be a test for them.

Penguins Win is the tip for this game.

I like the overs today: Bos/SJS (Bos is among leaders in both GF/GA) and Ana/Nas (Nas destroyed Jets 7-0 and is well rested, Ana had a game last night and will have heavy legs=leaky). Getzlaf got on the board (finall) and will get his groove back)
