Wow what a night of hockey that was! And it’s hard to believe the season is rolling along quickly and we are over a quarter of the way through the season.
The Blackhawks continued their dominance over the Jets winning with ease 6-3. The Predators managed to stun the Maple Leafs 4-2 and it’s becoming normal for them to keep doing to strong teams. The St Louis Blues beat the Boston Bruins 3-2 in a shootout and wow was this was amazingly close battle from start to finish and could very well be an early Stanley Cup preview. The San Jose Sharks win a lopsided game against the Tampa Bay Lightning even though they were outshot. All in all it was just a great night of hockey and become the norm for this season.
Tonight we are treated to 5 games and they look to be just as exciting as last night’s games were. A couple worth mentioning; The Islanders vs the Penguins, anytime these two meet its a spirited battle and the Lightning vs the Ducks in a battle of 2 powerhouse squads.
So let’s get to the tips for Friday, November 22nd.
Islanders vs Penguins: Over 5.5 Goals
Every time these teams play it turns into a feisty battle. The last played on October 25th and the Isles came out on top 4-3. Both of these teams have scored 63 goals each which outs them tied for 4th overall for goals scored in the Eastern conference.
The Penguins will be looking for revenge and now that they are relatively healthy I expect them to come out and throw a beat down on the Islanders. But the Isles are no pushovers and although they are in last place in the Metropolitan Division they have a good strong team. But who knows you will win this game more than likely the Penguins but there is no value at all in betting that.

Lightning vs Ducks: Ducks To Win
Well these two teams played on November 14th and at the time they were both in first place in their respective conference. The Lightning came out on top in that game 5-1.
This time around the both teams are tied for 2nd place in their divisions but now the Ducks are at home. Plus the Ducks are starting to get players back from the injured reserve. They were a good team already and now that they are getting healthy they now become scary good. Look for the Ducks to get their payback in this game and come out on top

Canadiens vs Capitals: Capitals to Win
Well this is the first time these teams have played this season and it should be a great game.
The Capitals are coming off of a 4-0 loss to their rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday so there are upset and it’s not fun to play a pissed off Caps team.
The Habs are going to go with Peter Budaj in net over Carey Price so that a bonus for the Caps. When you look at each team’s home and away record; the Caps are playing fantastic at home this year going 8-4, while the Canadiens are playing far worse on the road going 5-4, you get an indication how this gae is going to end
