Sorry guys – we went a disappointing 0-2.

We had Buffalo to win, and the Sabres twice led. But they kept letting Edmonton in and letting them get the shots away. Here’s a hint: if you let the opposing team get 52 shots against you, they WILL beat you. Yes – even if it’s Edmonton.

We also had the Canes -1.5 over the Blue Jackets, but they only won by one goal. That was a frustrating one. Canes looked off, and the Blue Jackets were just gifting them the game with 6 freaking power plays. During those 6 powerplays? Hurricanes only got 10 shots. Very, very frustrating – especially considering the 3.00 odds.

So yeah – sorry about that guys. Could have been a huge night with the 3.00 pick and the 2.15 pick – instead it’s the price is right horn. We’ll try and turn that around tonight.

Lightning vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips:

I am officially revoking my “never bet on games involving the Lightning” ban.

I bet them I believe the first 3 games of the season – twice to win, and once to lose. The games we had them to win they lost – and the one we had them to lose they blew away the Habs.

But the Blue Jackets are hurting at the moment. And although Blue Jackets matched up well against the Lightning last season, Lightning are on a nice roll. They won 4 straight at home, and that’s got to give them confidence on this road trip. They’re rested too while Blue Jackets are playing back to back. They’ve did that twice this season and lost the 2nd game. They also had a long game against the Canes last night where they really exerted themselves.

Let’s break the Lightning curse tonight. We’re going to go with Tampa Bay in regulation at 2.00 odds.

Canucks vs Kings Betting Tips:

This is a tight one – but we’re going to go with the Canucks.

They’ve got a killer road record. 6-2-0 on the road this season. It’s not been the toughest schedule for them though. Kings offense however just isn’t performing well at the moment. After starting so well they’re really struggling. They DO have a sick 6-1-1 home record – but the home games came when they were surging – and AGAIN it’s not exactly been against the best teams. Blue Jackets, Oilers, Sabres all make up that.

The Canucks offense is on fire and we’re going to go with them to continue that tonight.

Canucks to win. 2.10 odds.

Capitals vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:

Carolina offense had a bad night, but still got 2 goals in regulation. We’re backing them to do the business tonight, and the Capitals to do the same. Capitals haven’t had a game go under 5.5 since October 25th against the Flames. At home, Capitals score 3.29 a game in regulation alone, while conceding 3.14.

Bet Over 5.5 goals at 1.95 odds.

Grand Salami:

We’re going with Under 66.5 goals for the night.
