Well we went 2-0 last night and are off to a great start to the 2013-2014 NHL season with our bets.
Well I am back from Mexico but Graeme will be there until Thursday night. It was a great and fun week but it went by way too fast although my skin and liver would argue it was a long week. Not sure who had more fun Me, Graeme and our wives or our kids? Either way it was a much need break, a blast and something that we will be doing at least once a year every year
We tipped that the Pittsburgh Penguins would win -1.5 against the Carolina Hurricanes and they did winning 5-2 highlighted by Jussi Jokinen scoring a hat trick for the Penguins against his former team.
We also tipped over 5 goals for the NY Rangers vs the San Jose Sharks game and WOW did we ever go over! The Sharks, who look just incredible so far this year, beat the Rangers 9-2. They were led not only in this game but so far this season by the breakout performance of Tomas Hertl. He scored 4 goals in this game and is now the youngest player to ever do this. He became the first player in NHL history to score six goals over his first three career games. He now leads the NHL in both goals and points Are the Sharks Finally ready to do some damage in the playoffs this year? Even when he comes back down to earth and starts scoring at a normal pace, he is still going to be on Joe Thornton’s line so points will be there for him all year.
Only 3 games on tonight but either way continue on with our winning streak by placing a bet on each game tonight. Here are the NHL Betting Tips for Wednesday, October 9th.
Blackhawks vs Blues: Goal Before 9:30 Of First Period
This is going to be a great game between the 2 strongest teams in the Western conference and maybe the entire NHL. These longtime Central Division rivals always have spirited games and tonight will be no different. Also watch for a Ryan Reaves – Brandon Bollig fight.
I am for sure watching this game. I think there will be goal scored early in this one so bet that goal will be scored 9:30 of the first period over at http://www.BetOnline.ag for 1.78 betting odds
Canadiens vs Flames: Canadiens To Win
Sure Calgary has surprised some people so far this year but they are still destined for the basement in the West. Montreal on the other hand is a good quick team who no has some big heavyweights to protect their smaller skilled players.
I expect Montreal to Win this game and for the Flames to begin their inevitable collapse
Senators vs Kings: Over 5 Goals
This is a low number for the Over/Under for these two teams. They both feature players who can score and both have an good mi of skilled and grinding players. This will be a good game and I think that they will easily go over 5 goals in this one.
