Game 3 was great. They traded goals until the Sharks scored twice in a row, once to tie it and again in OT from rookie Joonas Donskoi. Game 4 is again in San Jose before it moves back to Pittsburgh.

Graeme is under the weather so hes going to rest and sit this one out.

Penguins vs Sharks

Scott  What a great series this has been.  All 3 games have been decided by a goal and 2 of them have needed OT and the other was decided with just over 2 minutes left in the game.  The home teams have won each game so will that continue tonight?

Of all the big names playing in the finals, Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Thornton, Pavelski and Burns are all still looking for their first goal of the series.  It just shows you the depth that these two teams have.

This is tough to call but with the home teams having success and picking up the win in the last game I like the Sharks to win and tie the series up

Sharks Win

this series is a coin flp! great for hockey, terrible for betting

Arto Reinikainen

Im going for a bet i’ve never went for before, over/under 5.5 + team wins combination.

Pens have been the better team in this series. Sharks are fighting back, but they’re chasing the game and just aren’t quite fast enough. After losing both road games to start a series, teams usually flex their muscles in game 3 at home and win pretty convincingly.

Here are some examples:

Sharks won first 2, Preds responded with a 4-1 win.

Stars won first 2, Wild responded with a 5-3 win.

Bolts won first 2, Red Wings responded with a 2-0 win.

It can also happen the other way around, lose first 2 at home and then win by a couple of goals on the road as seen by the Ducks.

But the Sharks needed OT to get it done.

Pens will want to respond tonight and there’s really nothing to indicate they wouldn’t carry the play once again. After 2x 40 shot games and one 30 shot game, im expecting the Pens offense to have a big night on the scoreboard. Whether it be lucky bounces or killer instinct, i really do think it’s going to happen.

Sharks will battle back hard and score a couple goals as well, but i just don’t see them winning this game (if they do it’s likely in OT again).

So im going for a big surprising bet, combination of Over 5.5 + Pens in regulation, gave me 6 odds. As much as i hate the Pens winning the cup, i think they’ll have a chance to win it on thursday at home.

Good luck !

And Hertl is out again, making me favor the Pens even more. He was the best Sharks forward in the first 2 games after all.

I took pittsburgh but its a coinflip …

But I like the stats that Arto stated for me thats the reason I’m going with pitts

I was thinking of under but man its so low… that I’m gonna pass that
