An unlucky 1-2 last night. We had an early scare with Coyotes/Flyers with the quick goal but it died down very fast in that game and we hit the under. Hurricanes took the Kings all the way to a shootout but our underdog pick lost in that, and Devils/Flames was looking good – but some top saves by Brodeur stopped an early goal in the 3rd, and killed that Over dead.
First game starts at 2pm EST so let’s get to the tips and I’ll be quick today with the writeups….
Blues vs Rangers: Blues -1.5
This one is pretty elementary. Rangers are leaking goals like a roof with 20 year old shingles at the moment, while the Blues have won all 3 games in spectacular fashion, barely conceding any goals while firing them in in spectacular fashion in the process.
You’ve got a very hot team who score a lot and have conceded little, against the complete opposite of that. Take the Blues -1.5 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..
Islanders vs Predators: Islanders Win
It was a frustrating game for NYI against the Blackhawks. Despite it being close in terms of score, Blackhawks dominated the majority of the game. We really like the Islanders this season, and think they will come out with something to prove against the Predators. They were frustrated against Chicago, and they’ll take those frustrations out against Nashville.
The Predators are having a hard time scoring, and Nabovski is back in net. Tavares is hot at the moment, and we like the Islanders to squeak out a 1-2 goal win here. Back them at generous odds of 1.95 at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..
Red Wings vs Flyers: Red Wings -1.5
Red Wings haven’t been lighting the world on fire but this is a great opportunity to get the momentum really going.
Philly just can’t score at the moment – and now they’re going to be without Hartnell and Lecavalier for this game. They are just a beaten team at the moment. These two teams usually match up really well for a close game, but the depleted and demoralized Flyers offensive line changes that, and we really like the Red Wings to rack up quite a good amount of goals tonight.
