NHL Scheduling is great isn’t it? Eleventy billion games Thursday. Eleventy billion games today. Nothing on Friday. Why not.
We’re reallllly at that point in the season where there’s not too much to play for. Just a few more days – looking forward to the playoffs.
I am not even going to analyze each game today. Just some passing thoughts as I look:
– Caps still have very, very slim playoff hopes but are just not backable in any capacity.
– I’d like to back the Kings but a tricky matchup. Oilers have had quite a few easy games lately though so you can’t really base it on their form. Kings and their inability to close in regulation is a concern. Feels like one of those 0EV games that I’d like to bet.
– Preds at 2.10 odds seems like a sneaky little bet that I like. Metrics don’t really go with it but just a gut feeling I have they take the W there.
I got nothing else. Roll on the playoffs!
