6 games yesterday.
The Caps beat the Penguins 3-0 in what might have been Ovechkin’s last game in Washington. Habs with a big win against the Islanders which eliminated them, Bruins beat the Jackets 3-2 and the Devils beat the Sens 4-3 in overtime.
10 games today and no time to go through each but heres a few thoughts:
– Sabres playing the Blackhawks. The Sabres are still trying to win their division so they should beat the lowly Blackhawks but by how many?
– Stars should pound the Leafs especially with the Leafs needing to lose to keep their draft pick.
– Sharks in Nashville to play the Predators. Both teams need these 2 points so it should be a great game.
– The Avalanche have locked up the Presidents Trophy so not sure how much of an effort they will have here. Oilers still could win their division so could make for a good game.
– Kings still need points and are on a 4 game streak taking on a eliminated Kraken team. Kings a good road team so I would expect them to win here.
– Knights are fighting with the Oilers and the Ducks for the Pacific Division, Jets can still make it but need to win out so this could be a decent game.
I lean towards a Leafs win tonight only because Dallas has no need to win or be motivated by this game, and Toronto is at home. However, the Leafs are not a sports team, so I can’t bet on them.
Can’t bet on LA because they don’t seem able to control their destiny to any degree. Their top line seems to be on a good roll but they don’t convince me.
Buffalo should win, but the odds are low. The puckline is being considered. Sabres have been playing well. They need another win, and their next game is Dallas, so tonight’s their main opportunity, plus they’ve just had three days off.
The playoff positions are leaving little to pick! I love soccer.

I.E. I sadly missed the Caps game (too early played than expected) but went with Habs instead. And I agreed how toasted (mentally) the Isles were. Don’t know how Habs almost had 3 in odds lol. But hey I thank ’em!
On paper Stars should be a safe bet..

I mean sure it was “safe” but too tight and luck-based for my liking.
Leafs were just bad enough – as I fully expected tho!
