The Flyers were down 2-0 and came back to tie it by the end of the 2nd and won the game 3-2 in a shootout which clinched them the last spot in the East. Leafs were up 3-0 and in true Leafs fashion they blew that lead allowing the Stars to tie it halfway through the 2nd. They went up 5-3 only to see the Stars again tie it and the Stars won it 6-5 in overtime. The Kings beat the Kraken 5-3 and clinched the final spot in the West.
9 games today. Due to having to leave for work shortly this will be another day where there is only a few thoughts. With the playoffs only days away and the field set I am fine with only thoughts.
– Devils vs Bruins. The Bruins can stay ahead of the Senators in the wild card with a win here. This is their last game and the Sens play the Leafs tomorrow. If they win here they play the Sabres in the first round, a loss and they play the Canes.
– Ducks vs Wild. The Ducks still havent locked in a spot but are in 3rd in the Pacific. The Wild played yesterday, are locked in 3rd in the Central and it wouldn’t hurt them to rest some players. If they do then the Ducks should win.
– Avalanche have locked the Presidents Trophy up. They played yesterday so they should be resting some players over their last 2 games. I still think without some of their players the Flames shouldn’t give them any troubles.
