Only 3 today. It’s another day where I don’t have any time to recap yesterday’s action. I’m sorry about this folks but I have to work soon and I’m to new to be late.
Canucks vs Avalanche
There really is only one play we have here. Its last place playing first place and first place is at home.
Canucks have lost 6 in a row and are 2-8 in last 10. The Avalanche are 6-3-1 in last 10 and 24-7-5 at home.
Obviously I like the Avalanche and their chances to win this game but it would have to be -2.5 so it’s a pass.
Blues vs Kings
The Blues are in 13th and have 4 points to gain. They also need the teams in front of them to lose. Not liking their chances to make it to the postseason this year.
The Kings are only 1 point out and but have gone 3-3-4 in the last 10. I think they should win this game but their home record has been bad going 10-17-8 so they aren’t a team I like in this spot.
Ducks vs Sharks
The Ducks are still in 1st in the Pacific but the Oilers are close to catching them. They have lost 2 in a row so they’ll need to get back on track and fast.
The Sharks are only 2 points back of the wild card spot. They have won 2 in a row and are on a 3 game point streak. I would love to see them make the playoffs as they are a young and skilled team who I think could do some damage.
They have played twice this season with each team winning once. Both games were decided by a single goal and one of them was in overtime. This could go either way.
