Quite the night of action last night.
The Pittsburgh Penguins look absolutely done. They just don’t have what it takes to handle the Flyers, and Skinner going to Skinner.
The Wild and Stars went to double OT in a super tight one which saw the Stars win to take a big road victory.
And McDavid had maybe his worst game in an Oilers jersey, as the Oilers lost to the Ducks 6-4 and blew their home ice advantage.
Let’s look at todays:
Bruins vs Sabres Game 3 Betting Tips
Scott: The Bruins picked up a big win in game 2 and chased Luukkonen in the process.
I’m sure the Sabres will go back to their starter for game 3. This has been a close series as the Bruins look much better than I thought they would. I still think the Sabres are going to win this series.
Sabres win incl OT

Graeme: This has been a weird series to watch for me. I backed the Bruins to win it, but I find myself rooting for Buffalo so that makes it tough.
I thought the Sabres would carry their confidence and momentum into Game 2. That surprisingly did not happen as I felt they were quite flat throughout the game.
That’s a big concern for me. I even said in the series betting tips that I really liked the Bruins if they could get back to Boston at 1-1.
The xGF numbers are off the charts for these two through two games. It makes the over very tempting. Although if you are looking at that I’d definitely spend some time looking at home/road metrics over the regular season. At 6 I don’t hate it at all though.
However everything is set up for me to essentially double down on my series predictions and how things would go if it came back here 1-1. So I’ll go with Bruins incl OT.

Senators vs Hurricanes Game 3 Betting Tips
Scott: This has been a crazy series. A penalty shot in overtime, a goal called back and a double overtime game. Just insane.
I don’t know whos going to win this game. The Canes blew a 2 goal lead only to win in OT so it’s going to be another close game here I’d expect. Sens at home so edge goes to them but I’m not touching this game.
Graeme: Despite the 2-0 deficit, I’ve been happy at what I have seen from the Sens thus far. If they’re going to get one in the win column, this is the spot to do it. Sens incl OT.

Kings vs Avalanche Game 3 Betting Tips
Scott: The Kings have played great but are still down 2-0 in the series. Each game was won by the Avalanche with 2-1 scores with game 2 needing overtime.
I picked the Avalanche in 5 games so if the Kings are to win a game then it has to be this one. With that said I’m staying away from this one and will wait and see how it plays out. Would lean towards an Avalanche win but needs to be in regulation and with how close the games have been I’m passing.
Graeme: I aired my concern about the Avs before and they are certainly being very chill in this series. Their xG has been solid – they just have not been able to convert and fortunately for them, the Kings are having similar issues.
Going to LA – I have absolutely no idea how this will go. I just know that based on the Avs performances so far, the idea of taking them in regulation is not up for consideration.
I would love to take LA here at the price – but despite being at home, that isn’t actually an advantage for them based on the regular season. I don’t hate the bet by any means. I’ll probably privately chuck something small on it.
Instead – I dunno I just feel like a ‘Kings Player Prop’. I guess my theory is that being at home and down 2-0 they’ll be more desperate and offensive.
I’ll go with Adrian Kempe anytime scorer at 2.95 odds purely because he is been pretty quiet thus far in the playoffs. I think we will see them utilize him more tonight.

Dont feel confident about any of the 3 games.
Only thing I might do is U 5,5 in Kings/Avs
