One NHL series wrapped up yesterday, as the Carolina Hurricanes swept the Ottawa Senators.
A tough series for Ullmark who played extremely well. Canes were just on point this series. Could this be their year? Or will this break between games hurt them? We’ve definitely seen that before.
There’s life in the old dog yet. The Penguins FINALLY came alive to beat the Philadelphia Flyers and force a Game 5 back at home. Not sure if that will be the TSN Turning Point, but good to see the Penguins avoid the sweep at least.
And Wild/Stars proved to be the zig/zag series we talked about yesterday.

Bruins vs Sabres Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: The Sabres were down 1-0 in the 2nd period in game 3. The came back to score 3 unanswered and won the game 3-1.

Graeme: Again I am tight on time so will be abrupt and no player props. Will be good again as of tomorrow. I really do not know in this one. Looking at the metrics over the three games, Sabres look great for the win. But I really thought Boston at home would be big. My gut says they’ll tie this up but coinflip odds seem about right, and so no bet. I’m annoyed I don’t have the time as I do feel this one is ripe for a player prop.
Kings vs Avalanche Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: Not much left to say about this series. The Avs are up 3-0.
I mean if the Kings win a game it’s this one. All games have been 1 goal games, even game 3 had an empty net goal in the 4-2 win. Expecting the Avs to win here but I’ll go with the Kings

Canadiens vs Lightning Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: This has been a great series. Each game has been decided in overtime.
They have traded wins so if that trend continues it’s the Lightnings turn to win. I guess it does make sense to follow along. But this game is still in Montreal and they will still have the home crowd behind them. I’m skipping this game.
Graeme: I mean at home I think I am happy to still back Canadiens to win incl OT. This one is razor-thin though as I think at below 2.00 odds there’s actually not any value – but happy to back the Habs here. Their SCGF is low and I think there iis more to come from them.

Ducks vs Oilers Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: The Ducks won game 3 which was their 1st home playoff win in 8 years. The game was tied at 3 after the 3rd but the Ducks outscored the Oilers 4-1 in the final frame.
It looks as though the Ducks have solved Ingram as they have scored 13 times in the last 2 games. Is it time for the Oilers to put Jarry in net? McDavid finally scored in the loss and maybe that gets him going.

It’s rare in the playoffs where one type of bet continues to cash and anything related to over in goals is the ticket for ducks and oilers. I’m doing first period over 1.5, goal in first 10 min, full game over and team goal overs also make sense.
I also liked to parlays a few guys who are hot for points as lots of points goes with the high scoring narrative.
