Two teams with their backs to the wall turned it around yesterday
The Oilers started strong last night and held on with a big 4-1 win over the Ducks.
The Bruins took the series back to Boston with a very tight OT win over Buffalo.
And the Wild got the 3-2 lead over Dallas and go home to ideally wrap it up.
Three games today:
Lightning vs Canadiens Game 5 Betting Tips
Scott: Game 4 saw the Habs jump out to a 2-0 lead only to have the Lightning, Hagel specifically, score twice in the 3rd and came out 3-2 winners.
This has been a good series so far and I don’t expect either team to stop swinging until the final bell. Have traded wins up until this game and the first 3 were in OT and game 4 was also a 1 goal game. Insanely close but I’ll follow the trend and take the Habs.
Habs win incl OT
Graeme: Like Scott said sometimes you just get those series where teams trade wins. These two have proven they are very easily matched – so if you are getting 2.45 odds on one of them, then you really just have to take it. Habs incl OT
Flyers vs Penguins Game 6 Betting Tips
Scott: The Penguins refuse to quit which is nice to see. They have kept it close and are still involved in all the after whistle shoving matches. The shots were close too with the Pens outshooting the Flyers 21-20.
I just think that it was only a matter of time for them and now with this game in Philadelphia the Flyers can end it at home or face a game 7 back in Pittsburgh
Flyers win incl OT
Graeme: Penguins look to have figured out the Flyers defence which is important. But it’s not overwhelmingly so. I’m going to go with Over 5.5 and hope that with their backs still against the wall, the Pens play some big offensive hockey, while the Flyers play some desperation home hockey.
Knights vs Mammoth Game 5 Betting Tips
Scott: This series is all tied up at 2 games each after game 4 needed a full period of overtime for Theodore to win it for the Knights.
With the game back in Vegas the Knights have to take advantage of home ice as the Mammoth have shown that they can hang with them and could win the series. I want to take the Knights to win including OT but the odds for that are low and after the last game I’m passing on that
Graeme: Game wise I have no idea. I wanted to go with Schmaltz to get a point but its at 1.64 so I’ll load up on Crouse for a point again.
