When Scott casually asked me the other day if I could handle Thursdays tips due to his time constraints – I should have looked at the schedule first!

14 freaking games today.

I am just going to buzz through these. A real at-a-glance type deal. If I see anything that jumps out I’ll dive through them in more detail but the end/beginning of the month is my busiest time with work, and I am swamped today.

Plus we’re definitely entering that “almost no tips” zone of the regular season.

Panthers vs Bruins

Pretty meaningless. With Panthers rediscovering their mojo I’d be wary of them.

Senators vs Sabres

Sens really need the win here. However it’se a very tricky Buffalo team. Been decent at home but the odds seem about right to me.

Hurricanes vs Jackets:

Just played. I don’t do reruns.

Flyers vs Wings:

Also recently played.

Rangers vs Canadiens:

Odds seem on the money.

Lightning vs Penguins:

Definite lean on the over but the Tampa offense seem to be slowing down a tad.

Devils vs Capitals:

I mean obviously the Caps need to win but all the power in the world to you if you can back them in this tricky spot.

Wild vs Canucks:

I don’t do -2.5 lol. Especially with a team with the form of the Wild.

Stars vs Jets:

I mean if Winnipeg still believe they can make the playoffs – not a bad bet here. Stars have been pretty trash lately. Winnipeg have their issues but got a few wins together.

By the metrics it’s actually a play. Just all about that belief – that Blackhawks result was so concerning.

I think that yeah – at the price, for a team almost in the wild card spot, we gotta take it. It’s on them if they don’t do it as they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs if they lose spots like that. Stars banged up too.

The more I analyzed this one, the more I couldn’t pull the trigger. I like it but just not enough.

Oilers vs Blackhawks:

Oilers likely cover the -1.5. Not enough metrics go in that direction – although it’s close. eally that Oilers GF/60 is what is putting me off.

Knights vs Flames:

Knights probably do it but not a handicap I am loving.

Sharks vs Leafs:

Sharks on a little run just now. They have that little winning confidence about them with the late goals.

It’s really the same as the Jets isn’t it? Critical games against teams whose seasons are over. This one is more appealing due to the Sharks being at home too. I’m almost tempted to reach for the in regulation.

Sharks incl OT/SO

Ontario: 1.83 Odds at Sports Interaction
Canada: 1.83 Odds at Sports Interaction
USA: -119 Odds at BetOnline.
Everyone Else: 1.83 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv

(Odds correct as of 2026/04/02 1:09:32 PM EST but are subject to change.)

Kraken vs Mammoth

Kraken are done for the season. Mammoth aren’t backable.

Kings vs Predators:

Big game but not anything that I see worth betting.
