Atlantic Division Winners Betting Tips:
I’m going to do things a bit different due to time constraints here – not going to break down each time. Just sort of write as I go and give quick thoughts. Got too much to do to prep for the new season.
I’m not feeling the Leafs this year. They still have a solid core and decent depth etc. I think Knies can step up.
Panthers are already hit with a couple of injuries. I wouldn’t count them out of course; they have made some really good moves over the last few years, and it won’t surprise me if they have more up their sleeve.
I think by default, I’m going with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
I’m not loving them, but you look at the cores we have on display and they arguably have the best core. They also have solid depth. Just have to hope Hedman and Vasilevskiy don’t show their age. The latter I am a bit more concenred about. I’m looking forward to seeing Guentzel and Point with Kucherov.
The Senators may surprise. If you’re looking for a long shot bet I don’t hate them. Would like to see Cozens really step up And hopefully Stutzle captures his magic from a couple of seasons ago.,
I could see the Habs making their way into the playoffs. There is definitely a lot of promise there and a strong run of results around hte middle will be huge for them.
Buffalo again look like one of those teams that on paper are solid and tick a lot of boxes, but it just doesn’t translate to the ice.
That’s my thoughts on the Atlantic. I think by default, Tampa take it. If I were to look beyond them, Ottawa are a value bet.
