Sorry for the lateness in todays tips – man, this past few months has just been nuts for me. Things do seem to be settling down hopefully, but today was just all over the place.
Only 4 games still to kick off and with B2Bs it’d be easy to just pass, but I like to recap my previous day anyway.
Went 1-1. Lost with the Ducks/Devils over. All my additional analysis yesterday was on the Devils and if they could score – which they could. Ducks I knew it would be hot or cold but thought they could contribute a bit more.
Won with the Wild in one that was tighter than I liked. So very glad the Penguins one wasn’t a play.
“Called” it with the Islanders. Big surprise win by the Jets. Flyers would have been a viable “dog of the day” bet as I said. Dodged a bullet with Stars/Panthers thanks to the metrics. Overall just one of those “relief” days where the dogs I liked came close enough to make it a correct bet, but would have been a losing one.

Hurricanes vs Flyers:
Just played. No thanks. Probably value in the Flyers at that line but who the hell knows – a real gamble bet.
Wild vs Bruins
Wild on the B2B, Bruins not. By the metrics it’s pretty close anyway in line with the odds.
By the metrics Oilers should get the W here. But those odds, on the road, B2B, and hey it’s Edmonton – nope.
Kraken vs Sabres
No B2B here.I don’t think there is enough to take Buffalo though although I do like them here. The metrics are in their favour but the odds seem about right. If you’re hurting for a bet today that’s probably the only thing I’d consider.
