The Canucks beat the Devils 2-1 with the newly acquired Zeev Buium scoring and grabbing an assist. The Mammoth were down by 3 but had a huge comeback and won 5-4 in OT. Quinn Hughes played almost 27 minutes and scored a goal in his first game for the Wild as they won 6-2 against the Bruins.
Canes beat the Flyers 3-2 in a shootout with goalie Bussi winning his 9th straight matching a franchise record, the Habs opened the 2nd period with the games first goal and didn’t look back beating the Oilers 4-1. After ending their losing skid at with an OT win the Kraken have lost 2 in a row when they got beat 3-1 by the Sabres.

Panthers vs Lightning
They played on November 15th with the Lightning winning 3-1.
Both teams come into this game with 5-4-1 records over their last 10 games. Either team has the greatest records based on where they are playing. Panthers are 6-7-0 on the road and Lightning 8-7-0 at home. The Lightning lost all 3 games against the Islanders this month by a combined score of 7-3.
The Panthers have a losing record against teams from the Atlantic going 2-4-0. The Lightning have a winning one going 4-2-1.
Panthers are 12th, the Lightning 9th in GPG. The Panthers 19th and the Lightning 4th in GAPG. The Panthers have been scoring a bunch recently scoring 21 goals over their last 5 games. The Lightning only scored twice against the Isles but scored 14 times in the 2 games before that. In GF/60 the Panthers are 3.55, the Lightning 3.47. For XGF/60 the Panthers are 3.65 and the Lightning 3.97. Both are over 3.20 in XGA/60.
So basically all of that to say I like the over here.

Ducks vs Rangers
The Ducks have lost 2 in a row and before that they had a shootout win. So they aren’t playing as well as they had been.
The Rangers on the other hand have been playing well after looking like shit. They have won 6 of their last 10 games but also have had 4 of their last 6 go to overtime so not as convincing as I would like if I was to take them here.
Ducks road record of 8-8-1 and the Rangers home record of 4-8-3 makes this game a pass for me. Either team having success where they are playing.
Senators vs Jets
Tough game to call here. Both teams are in slumps.
The Sens have gone 3-7-0 in last 10 and 2-4-0 this month. The Jets are 3-6-1 in last 10 and 2-4-1 this month.
They also have similar records for home and away with the Sens 8-7-2 on the road and the Jets 8-7-0
Predators vs Blues
There’s nothing here for me. I don’t have a clue who wins this one.
Kings vs Stars
They played back on October 23rd with the Kings winning 3-2 in overtime.
Both teams come into this game losing 2 in a row.
The Kings lost to the Flames and the Kraken but both were in OT. The Stars lost to the Panthers and Wild.
On the road the Kings have gone 10-2-5 which is great and the Stars at home have gone 10-5-1. Both teams having success based on where they are playing.
The Stars are favoured here but I could see this going either way.

the league seems so “equal” and hard to pick sides this season. Have had a terrible time picking sides. Maybe my data analysis is a perfect contrarian indicator and I should go against my system? Not a bad idea, hahaha
St.Louis – Nashville
Nashville and St. Louis faced off last week, with the Predators winning 7-2.
Back then, the Nashville Predators were seen as balanced, relying on capitalizing on opportunities at the right times.
The Predators are currently in their worst form away from home. They have scored just 10 points in 13 road games, conceding 49 in those games.
If we look at St. Louis’s play, it also seems weak. Defensive issues are the Blues’ main weakness, and they have conceded 64 goals in 17 home games.
Tie after regular time.
Florida vs Tampa Bay OVER 5.5 -125.
Seems like we all see this game total similar, which makes me wonder why it’s set at 5.5 which feels low. I also leaned Tampa Bay to win -125. Maybe that would have been the better play, but I’ll still ride the OVER 5.5 based on my data for this game.
Nashville vs St. Louis UNDER 6.5 at -170.
Alt line that I think has a little bit of value as I’m not sure if both teams will be able to contribute offensively. Will need Hofer to hold up or the St. Louis offense to continue to struggle to score though.
