9 games yesterday and Graeme had 2 tips and went 2-0.

Took the Stars in regulation against the Leafs and the Leafs slide continues losing their 3rd in a row 5-1.  Also had the Mammoth to win against the Jets and they did 4-3 in overtime after blowing a 3 goal lead.

Wings won a close one against the Caps 3-2 in OT.  Hughes made his return after missing 18 games abs scored for the Devils but they lost 3-1 to the Sabres.  The Avs cooled the Wild with a 5-1 win.  The Sens beat the Bruins 6-2 and the Penguins showed up after getting shut out by them and won 4-3 in a shootout.

4 tonight as we get closer to the Christmas Break.

Blues vs Lightning

The Blues are a team that I personally have no faith in.  They are 14-15-8 and have a long way to go to climb back in the standings.

The Lightning snapped their losing skid at 3 games when they beat the Canes 6-4.  That win against the top team in the Eastern Conference is going to give them some momentum.

Heading into the Christmas break the Lightning are going to want to keep it going and try to forget the 3 game skid.  I want to take them but their recent play has me wanting to wait until they get back on track.

Canucks vs Flyers

The Canucks have won 4 games in a row and it’s strange to see how they have came together since moving Hughes.  Another win here would move them to 5 in a row which would be nice Christmas gift.  They still have points to gain to climb in the Pacific.

The Flyers have lost their last 2 games and are 3-3-4 in last 10.  Not exactly playing like a playoff team as they near the halfway point of the season.

Canucks have the edge in CF, CA and have been great since the trade.

Canucks win incl OT/SO

Kraken vs Ducks

The Kraken moved a player for draft picks and it seems like they are maybe trying to shuffle things up to spark the team.  They are 2-8 in last 10 and are in 8th place in the Pacific and at the bottom of the league standings.

The Ducks are still at the top of the Pacific and are 5-4-1 in last 10.  They have been good at home too going 12-5-0.  It’s surprising how well they have played considering they are 3rd in GPG but 30th in GAPG.

With the Kraken wining their last game after trading Marchment they should have some momentum and play tomorrow against the Kings.

Jackets vs Kings

The Jackets acquired Mason Marchment from the Kraken.  He is someone who will go to the front of the net and get the greasy goals.  They need all the help they can get as they are in 8th place in the Metro, 3-6-1 in last 10 and have lost their last 2 games.

The Kings moved Danault back to the Canadiens for a 2nd round draft pick.  They haven’t played since Thursday so they should be rested here which they need as they haven’t been very good of late going 4-4-2.  They have played like shit at home which isn’t going to help them going 4-6-4.

I would lean towards the Kings here but their home record isn’t good so it’s a pass.

Not touching the NHL today; too close to a break, lots of teams will be tempted to use today as nothing but an aerobic workout and suprising results won’t surprise me?

I looked for Tie in Regulation but the situation of the break starting puts me off what very few spots I could find.
