1-1 yesterday.

Wild got the win, Preds didn’t. Blues played well that game and deserved the victory.

Sunday, buncha back to backs. Let’s see if we got anything:

Lightning vs Canadiens

Potentially competitive little game, especially with Tampa on a B2B. Habs the extra day of rest but you never know what you’re going to get from that. Metrics all Tampas way can’t back the Habs here.

Jackets vs Islanders

Jackets with the rest here. Fuck the Islanders as per usual. Jackets will have went into the break feeling good with that W. My gut says a good spot for them. Better CF% and FF%. Man its close but 1.74 odds seem right on the money.

Blackhawks vs Penguins

Oooh no. Ha. Data generally goes Pens way.

Red Wings vs Leafs

Odds seem on point here. If both weren’t on B2Bs I’d consider the over – maybe. But 6.5 – bleh.

Kraken vs Flyers

Kraken on a 3 game win streak what an end to their road trip. Philly also playing well. I’d probably have odds about the same as the bookies and with Flyers being on the road after the break – eh.

Thought today might be a day like this.

Columbus – Islanders

The New York Islanders head to Columbus with valuable psychological baggage and a fresh victory against the Rangers. Winning a local derby is always more than just points in the standings. However, the Islanders have virtually no time to recover.

The Blue Jackets, on the other hand, are in a completely different situation. They’re only just playing their first game back after the break, meaning they have full reserves of energy and a complete recovery. However, I think that might be a problem today.

The New York Islanders’ stats paint a picture of a team in perfect balance. They have exactly the same number of shots on goal, allowing their opponents to shoot at their own goal, which isn’t common.
