Had the one tip yesterday.

I had the Wings to beat the Canucks and they did 4-0.  Gibson had a big game picking up 39 saves in the shutout.

The Leafs beat the Lightning 2-0 with the Leafs picking up an empty net goal with 1 second left.  The Wild beat the Kraken 4-1 which is their 6th loss in a row.

The Flames won their 3rd in a row when they beat the Sabres 7-4.  The Kings beat the Mammoth 4-2.

10 games for us tonight.

Sharks vs Flyers

The Sharks are coming off of that big win against the Hurricanes and are 5-5 in last 10.  On the road they have gone 5-8-0 which isn’t great.

The Flyers lost their last game but still have a winning record over last 10 going 6-4-0.  At home they have gone 9-5-2.

Would have to take the Flyers in regulation but I’m just not liking that play enough to make it a play.

Lightning vs Canadiens

The Lightning played against the Leafs yesterday and lost 2-0.

The Canadiens have 2 shootout wins and 2 losses so far this month.  They are 5-4-1 in last 10 and 7-7-1 at home.

With the Lightning playing yesterday and the Canadiens having an off start to the month I’m passing.

Ducks vs Penguins

They played back on October 14th and the Ducks won that one 4-3.

The Ducks have had a great season so far.  They are 6-4-0 in last 10 including winning their last 2 games.  They are 1st in the Pacific and 4th overall.  On the road they are 7-6-1.

The Penguins are 5-2-3 in last 10 and 6-4-1 at home.  They are 9th in GPG and 7th in GAPG.

The Ducks have a big advantage in CF, are better in bpth Fenwicks. Better in SF/60, SA/60 and GF/60.  The Pens have the edge in GA/60 but the XGA number is higher so I think there is enough here for me to take the Ducks.

Knights vs Islanders

They last played on November 13th with the Knights losing 4-3 in overtime.

The Knights have won 4 in a row, are 6-2-2 in last 10 and on the road they have gone 7-2-4.

The Islanders are a team that plays in New York.

Pulling for the Knights here but there is no chance I touch anything involving those shitstains from New York anytime soon.

Devils vs Senators

The Devils are a mess at the moment.   They have lost 5 in a row and are 3-7-0 in last.  On the road they have gone 7-8-0.  They need Jack Hughes back and fast.

The Sens are also in a bit of a slump themselves.  They have dropped 2 in a row, are 4-6-0 in last 10 and at home they have gone 6-5-2.

The Devils are 23rd in GPG, the Sens 16th.  For GAPG the Devils are 17th and the Sens 23rd.

Both on skids so I have to pass.

Jackets vs Hurricanes

The Jackets are slumping and are currently in 8th in the Metro.  They are 3-3-4 in last 10, have dropped their last 2 games and on the road they are 7-7-3.  They are 2-5-2 against teams from the Metro.

The Canes are coming into this off of losing 4-1 to the Sharks.  They are 5-4-1 in last 10, 9-5-1 at home and are sitting in 2nd in the Metro.  They are 4-2-0 against teams from the Metro.

The Canes rank much better than the Jackets in GPG, SOG, GAPG and SOGA.  They also have better numbers in both CF and CA. Both SF and SA /60, GA/60 amd both XG numbers

Canes win in regulation

Bruins vs Blues

Both teams on 2 game win streaks but I have nothing for this game.

Stars vs Jets

The played back in early October with the Stars winning 5-4.

The Stars have won 3 in a row and are 8-0-2 in last 10.  On the road they have gone 10-1-4.  They are in 2nd in the Central and league behind the Avalanche in both.

The Jets are slumping going 3-6-1 in last 10 and 7-5-0 at home.  They are clearly missing Hellebuyck who’s on the IR.

Sabres vs Oilers

They last played on November 17th with the Sabres winning 5-1.

The Sabres played the Flames yesterday and got beat 7-4.

The Oilers took advantage of the slumping Jets in their last game scoring 4 in the 1st period.  They’re 5-4-1 in last 10 and 7-3-2 at home.

Avalanche vs Predators

They last played each other on November 22nd and the Avalanche won that one 3-0.

The Avalanche have won last 2 games and are 8-1-1 in last 10.  They are in first overall in the league.  On the road they have gone 10-2-4.  Against Central division teams they are 3-0-3.

The Preds are 5-5 in last 10 and are in last place in the Central and the league.  They are 6-8-2 at home and 1-5-2 against teams from the Central.

I do like the Avalanche here and we would need to take them -1.5 on the road.

Well the Canucks are more f-ed up than I expected, shutout yesterday, so they’re bet bait for their opponents this month. Canucks need to make the trade and move forward.

To WIN puckline: Oilers
Buffalo does not look highly coordinated, has shit defense, they’re no threat. Calgary (of all teams!) walked all over them. Oilers should have a field day, being rested, playing far better recently, at home on a home stretch and Buffalo on a back-to-back on the road and at elevation, looking as a team like AHL tryouts. Moneyline is a given. How much of a puckline to try is the question. -1.5. Maybe -2.5.
Looking at Oilers props.

Red Flag: Avs had 1 day off after a back-to-back on the road and it’s 4in6 for them, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t really show up tonight, far too risky. Nashville had 2 days off, but they are difficult to read. Avs had 3 back-to-backs in their last 10 games, they must be getting exhaustion issues, and that raises the risk of injuries which they really don’t need.

Lean: Boston wins moneyline

TREND WATCH:
I’m maybe early or wrong on this but it may be that while some teams are rounding into form, the easy “Over” bets are being put under more threat as some defenses get improved. Just a concern to dig deep on numbers and situations and not leap to easy Over selections. Each game is it’s own situation.

Montreal – Tampa Bay

A fourth straight loss, the last in Toronto, is a wake-up call. The Florida team will have time to quickly recover and analyze their mistakes before the match against the Canadiens.

The most intriguing question ahead of this game is the Lightning’s goalie situation. With Vasilievsky still unavailable, the coaching staff faces a difficult choice.

On the other side of the table, the Montreal Canadiens, despite their negative goal difference, are performing surprisingly well in terms of scoring points.

The Canadiens have scored three or fewer goals in five consecutive games, averaging 2.4 goals per game. That’s not exactly a great record, but I see some potential for Tampa Bay.
