1-1 yesterday.
Penguins lost to the Flames in an upset. Frustrating one as the Pens took a bit to get going, but when they tied it up they were looking great. Flames got the early 3rd period goal though and it seemed to take the wind out of their sails. The goalie interference goal didn’t help. Wish the Pens had challenged that.
Avs rolled him in a nice and easy win.
What a win for the Bruins. Glad I stayed away from the Flyers with that Lightning offense. They are overperforming big time at the moment.
With all the back to backs I’ll be surprised if I have anything today but let’s have a little look.
Jets vs Devils
No back to back here. The only one. But I am not feeling either team, and not seeing anything in the data. Devils offense HAS to start scoring more again at some point based on their offensive metrics. They do look like they have lost their way, but no faith in the Jets.
Bruins vs Penguins
I think normally you’d like the Pens here, especially after they are feeling shafted from yesterdays refs, but can you really back against a team that just scored 10?
Mammoth vs Jackets
Unfortunately, the metrics aren’t there for Mammoth in regulation. Barely better in Corsi & Fenwick, worse xGF and goaltending has been a big factor but as always, is high variance.
Predators vs Capitals
Nothing here not even a lean.
Sharks vs Knights
Both on a B2B. Definitely no interest in Knights in regulation, which is what it’d have to be. Could see an over but you never know energy on the B2B so not one I’m interested in.
