9 games yesterday
Rangers captain Miller called out his team after getting pounded but it didn’t help as they lost to the Kraken. The Panthers proved that having more players added to the the injured list didn’t bother them as they beat the Sabres ending the Sabres win streak at 3 games.
The Lightning won their 10th straight when they beat the Flyers 5-1. The Habs beat the Canucks 6-3, Wings beat the Canes 4-3 in overtime and the Leafs beat the Avs 4-3 in overtime.
10 games today but so many teams played yesterday so I’ll see what I can find.
Flames vs Jackets
Last played November 5th with the Flames winning 5-1.
Both have similar records this season and over the last 10. Flames are in 7th in Pacific and the Jackets in 8th in the Metro.
Jackets are 0-3-1 in last 5 and at home tbey are 9-7-4. The Flames won their last game against the Penguins but had lost 4 in a row before that. The Jackets fired their head coach so curious to see how they respond to that.
Canucks vs Senators
Canucks played yesterday so no for them.
So much drama with the Sens right now I for sure won’t be backing them any time soon.
Canadiens vs Capitals
They last played on November 20th with the Caps winning 8-4.
The Canadiens played yesterday.
The Caps have had a decent season so far and so has the ageless Ovechkin. They are in 4th in the Metro but are 4-5-1 in last 10. They are in the top 10 in GPG, SOG and SOGA.
I would lean towards the Capitals here but they 2-3-1 this month which doesn’t give me any faith in them. Plus it would have to be in regulation.
Lightning vs Penguins
The Lightning played against the Flyers yesterday and extended their win streak to 10 games.
The Penguins have lost their last 2 games. They are 7-3-0 in last 10 and 3 of those wins came in extra time.
If they didn’t play yesterday I would be all over the Lightning here.
Wings vs Bruins
Wings played yesterday.
The Bruins have won 3 in a row. They put up 10 goals and followed that up with a 1-0 win. They are at home where they have gone 15-8-1
With how they are playing I have to think the Bruins continue the momentum. They have the edge in CF, CA, SF, SA, GF and XGF. I want to take them here but the Wings on a 4 game win streak has me worried.
Hurricanes vs Blues
Hurricanes played yesterday.
Blues have lost 3 in a row so no confidence in them.
Islanders vs Jets
Have had an awful time tipping the Isles this season. Always do our homework and check all of the numbers but whenever we tip a game involving them it goes wrong.
Jets are a mess right now despite winning their last 2 games they have gone 2-5-3 in last 10.
Oilers vs Predators
The Oilers played yesterday and I’m off of tipping the Preds at the moment.
Leafs vs Mammoth
The Leafs played against the Avalanche yesterday.
The Mammoth are sitting in the middle of the Central. They have been better defensively, ranking 8th in GAPG and 5th in SOGA, than offensively ranking 18th in GPG and 17th in SOG.
Would lean towards Leafs if they weren’t playing for the 2nd night in a row.
Stars vs Ducks
Last played on December 19th with the Stars winning 8-3.
Stars played yesterday so nothing there.
The Ducks have lost 9 games in a row so not touching them.
