There was only 4 games yesterday The Kings vs Jackets game was postponed due to weather and will be played on March 9th.
Had the Bruins to beat the Rangers but the Rangers won it 4-3 in overtime snapping their losing skid at 3 games.
Granlund and Ekholm traded hat tricks when the Oilers beat the Ducks 7-4, the Lightning shutout the Mammoth 2-0 and the Isles beat the Flyers 4-0.
10 games scheduled for tonight.
Kings vs Wings
The Kings are 4-2-4 last 10 winning last 2. They are a good road team going 13-6-6.
The Wings are paying well going 8-1-1 in last 10. They have been strong at home too going 18-8-1 which helps explain how they are so high up in the standings.
The data is close for this one. The Wings do have the advantage in GF/60 and GA/60 but it isn’t enough to push this one over for me.
Knights vs Canadiens
Knights are fighting to keep in the top spot in the Pacific. They have played well in last 10 going 7-3 and rank in the top 10 in GPG, SOG and SOGA.
The Habs are 5-4-1 last 10 and are tied with the Sabres for 3rd in the Atlantic. At home they’ve gone 14-6-6
Much like the Kings vs Wings game there isn’t a play here when using the data.
Mammoth vs Panthers
The Mammoth played yesterday.
The Panthers have won 3 in a row and have gone 14-10-0 last 10. They need to continue to play well to get back into the playoff picture.
Not taking the Mammoth and I’m just not liking the Panthers right now.
Sabres vs Leafs
The Sabres have had a decent season to this point and they are in 3rd in the Atlantic. They’re 7-2-1 in last 10, on a 3 game win streak and 13-11-2 on the road. Against Atlantic Divison teams they have gone 9-3-2.
The Leafs are a mess right now. They have lost 4 in a row, are 4-4-2 in last 10 and are 16-8-6 at home. Against Atlantic Divison teams they have gone 6-6-4 so not the best of results.
I wanted to take the Leafs as this losing skid is going to end and with this being their last home game before the Olympic Break, they won’t play at home again until March 2nd, this is a spot to do so. But the Sabres are playing well.
Predators vs Bruins
Preds are the Preds. They have always given me troubles so I tend to avoid them.
The Bruins played yesterday.
Jets vs Devils
Just played on January 11th and the Jets won 4-3
Either team has had great seasons and are near the bottom of their divisions.
Jets have lost last 2 and on the road they have been bad going 8-14-2.
The Devils are 5-5 in last 10 and 12-9-2 in New Jersey.
Both are scoring less than 3 goals a game and both are allowing more than 3 goals a game. No idea who wins here.
Blackhawks vs Wild
The Hawks have dropped their last 2 games and are 4-5-1 in last 10.
The Wild haven’t looked great and will need to get back to a more consistent game to stay where they are in the standings. 3 of their last 5 games needed overtime and have gone 4-4-2 last 10.
I’m passing here.
Stars vs Blues
These teams just played on Friday and the Stars won that 3-2.
With both teams just playing against each other there really isn’t much to say.
Sharks vs Canucks
Last played at end of December and the Sharks won that with ease 6-3.
The Sharks haven’t played since Friday so they should be rested here. They are 6-4 in last 10 and 12-12-0 on the road.
The Canucks are awful at the moment and there’s no way I’m touching them. Even their home record of 5-16-3 is tough to look at.
I wish the Sharks had better road results and it would help in making a play here. They data doesn’t back them enough for me to make it a play here.
Capitals vs Kraken
Caps need to get back their winning ways as going 3-6-1 in last 10 and are 12 points behind the Metro Division leaders the Canes.
Kraken have similar results going 3-5-2 and are in 6th in the Pacific.
Nothing really jumps out to me here.
Unfavorable set of games, nothing particularly sticks out, that usually IS the case with 10(+) games!
I lean somewhat to the Panthers as they seem to have awoken up. Mammoth tho will play fearlessly… but the silver lining is the three times they have met Panthers have won them all. Have to be ML and the odds isn’t the best. I may skip. >>No Tip!<< Only thinking out loud.

Not saying the data backs it up but Sabres are scoring goals and the leafs goaltending stinks. Alternate over 5.5 and could parlay with Buffalo team total over 2.5 to shave down the juice
