Felt like a bit of an erratic day yesterday, and quite glad I didn’t end up backing anything.
We’ve technically got 3 games today with the Panthers vs Rangers Winter Classic being one I won’t officially tip but will at least look at the metrics.
I’m looking forward to this next little period. We’ve got a month of hockey before the break, and this is where you should see teams buckle down and really make a drive for the playoffs.
I’m hopeful that we can find some nice and consistent teams to back that we can trust on a nightly basis.
Let’s look at todays:
Blues vs Knights:
Blues on a two game skid. Knights also struggling big time at the moment.
By the data – Knights probably win but not seeing anything bettable.
Panthers vs Rangers:
By the results, Panthers should take it. By the data, it’s actually a bit closer. I wouldn’t be considering Panthers at those odds.
Canucks vs Kraken:
These two just played. By the data I am not seeing anything anyway.
Ducks vs WIld:
Wheels feel like they might be coming off the Wild bus ever so slightly. By the data – man I don’t hate a Ducks play here. Better CF%, FF% both by a decent amount. Better xGF% as well.
As we know – with DUcks it’s all about goaltending and the complete lack of it. Wild have also got great goaltending while Ducks are struggling to score.
It’s a gamble and 2.10 is just too low for me.
