Usual big Saturday schedule.

Let’s get right into it.
If these write-ups seem rushed – it’s because they are ha. Usual amount of work goes into the picks but man it wears me out so the write-ups I have little energy.
Flyers vs Kings
Not feeling either team here. Metrics are in Kings favour but you have to back their offense to score. They have been very hot and cold.
But I mean christ – it’s Philly, isnt it? They should blast them.
It’s tough as there’s not a lot of correlation with the data. Like – what you really want to see is the Kings offense kicking it up against teams with similar defensive metrics, and struggling against opposite ones. Then it’s a generally easy bet metrics wise. But like they blasted the Rangers so there is that. However it seems to be a bigger focus on GA/60.
However they ARE a strong team on the road. But Vladar likely in net which makes it toughter – he can be a bit stingier
Ahh…it’s close, but I think I will just pass on it.
Nothing here. I don’t hate the Red Wings but Avs are one of those teams where it can be very hard to back against as you know what they are capable of, and a couple of losses can be just what they need to wake them up for a bit.
Penguins vs Rangers
Penguins did me right the other night which was nice. Can they continue? CF% is close, FF% slightly better. GF% and xGF%^ good as is SCGF%.
I see no reason to not back them again. They’ve even figured out how to win with Skinner – score at least 4 goals. Nice and simple.

Nothing here.
Panthers vs Jets
Nothing in the data here either really. I think the slightest of leans on the Jets – maybe. Negated by them being on the road a bit.
Capitals vs Hurricanes
I’m not super concerned about a Capitals resurgence. Of course I could have egg in my face if I go with the Canes here. Already hoping I find something to put me off. All the data ponts their way. Beast on a road. Playing strong regardless of the type of game and opponent.
Just one of those where it checks all the boxes.

Blues vs Jackets
Odds seem about how I’d price it. Metrics like the Jackets but on the road and B2B makes it a skip for me.
Sabres vs Canadiens
Ineresting one here. The two recently played which can make it iffy – but they recently played before that and the Sabres got the win both times.
I was hoping the metrics would be in the Sabres favour but alas not really. My gut says Sabres, but the data really does not.
Senators vs Devils
Would have to be Sens in regulation. Let’s see; couple of impressive wins in a row. Devils I mean they have had some feisty games lately. Can’t underrestimate them. The data generally in favour of the Sens though.
But it depends on the goaltending. Is it Reimer? Is Ullmark back? Is he going to be in beast mode, or rusty? Is his head on straight?
It’s a big question mark. Me? I’ll probably roll the dice on the Sens regardless. But it’s too iffy to come out and say it.
Islanders vs Predators
Two teams I absolutely hate backing playing against each other. Obligatory Fuck the Islanders. Not really seeing anything in the data. If Preds goaltending continues to be not too bad I don’t hate them here.
Canucks vs Leafs
I 100% do not hate a Canucks bet here. I cannot advise it – but I am probably playing it myself. I think there’s enough to it while the Leafs continue to be a disaster.
Mammoth vs Stars
Tight odds and they seem about right. Mammoth with some proper erratic data which messes it up – too reliant on goaltending.
Oilers vs Wild
Too tight to call for me with some erratic data.
Knights vs Kraken
Aaand nothing here.

I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere. But honestly – I have memories before of the flu bug going through the Penguins dressing room, them sick af, and all the other boxes against betting them being checked, then they came out and won 4-1 or something.
