Solid winning day yesterday with the underdog Flyers getting quite an easy win over the Edmonton Oilers, at 2.50 odds.
And hopefully some of you hopped on board the Blackhawks play as well. I had got on that at 3.65 yesterday, so a very nice little Sunday.
Not much else to report. Sabres goaltending went to pot so the Jackets got the win. Glad I avoided the Leafs due to their road record. Sens held firm with the data and got the win.
Five games today. Some B2Bs etc so might be a quiet little Sunday but let’s see:
Stars vs Canadiens:
Habs just played. After four tough games, Stars will be looking to right the ship with a win here. The metrics are quite high variance and no play here.
Jackets vs Penguins
Jackets coming off that win over the Sabres, looking to make it 5 out of 6 wins.
Penguins coming in strong.
No play for me. I thiiiink the data leans on the Jackets but the odds aren’t good anyway. Even if it wasn’t B2B, I wouldn’t take it. Over 6.5 is a possibility but not one I’d hang my hat on.
Panthers vs Avalanche:
Ooof – on one hand you have the Avs, on an absolute tear but on a B2B. On the other it’s the Panthers, you’d think motivated after that drubbing during the Winter Classic.
I’d lean Avs but with Miner projected in net – meh. I mean with the B2B and the Panthers potential motivation I don’t think it matters anyway.
Devils vs Hurricanes:
Maaaaybe a decent little spot for the Devils but the data is just way too high variance right now.
Blackhawks vs Knights:
The data isn’t there enough to support Knights -1.5 on the road, which is what it’d have to be. And it’s certainly not there for the Blackhawks like yesterday.
