5 games yesterday and a 4 games were decided by a single goal and 3 needed overtime.
The Panthers beat the Avalanche 2-1 ending the 10 game win streak for the Avalanche who also lost captain Landeskog who needed help off the ice. The Penguins were down 4-1 but managed to come back and beat the Blue Jackets 5-4 in OT pushing their win streak to 5 games in a crazy game.
The Habs beat the Stars 4-3 in overtime with Hutson scoring his first career overtime goal for the win. They were down 2-1 but the Hawks tied it up and Bertuzzi scored all 3 goals when the Hawks beat the Knights 3-2 in OT. The Canes beat the Devils 3-1 to end their losing streak at 3 games.
5 games again tonight.
Mammoth vs Rangers
Last played on November 22nd with the Mammoth winning 3-2.
Either team has been great of late.
The Mammoth are 5-5-0 in last 10 and are 10-13-2 on the road. The Rangers are 4-5-1 and at home they have gone 5-10-3.
Looking at both teams records and play based on where, for Mammoth on road and the Rangers at home, its tough to find a team to back here.
Ducks vs Capitals
The last played on December 5th with the Ducks winning 4-3 in a shootout.
The Ducks have lost 5 in a row and 7 of their last 8. They are ranked 6th in GPG but are in last place overall for GAPG. They are 9-9-2 on the road.
The Caps are also on a skid but theirs is only at 2 games. Over their last 10 they have been bad going 3-5-2.
With both teams play of late I can’t back either team here.
Wings vs Senators
Both teams are 6-3-1 in last 10 and both are also on streaks but in the opposite directions, the Wings have dropped two in a row and the Sens have won their last 2.
Both teams also have similar records when playing teams from the Atlantic Divison with the Wings going 6-3-2 and the Sens 5-3-3.
To make this game even tougher to call is the Wings are 10-7-3 on the road and the Sens are also 10-7-3 but at home.
Kraken vs Flames
Last played on December 18th with the Flames winning 4-2.
The Krakens are on a 2 game win streak, are 6-3-1 in last 10, 9-4-1 against Pacific teams and 9-7-3 on the road.
The Flames lost their last game but are 6-4-0 in last 10, 7-5-0 against Pacific teams and 12-6-2 at home.
Flames are better in CF, CA, SF, SA. Pretty much have the edge in all so it’s enough for me.

Wild vs Kings
They just played on Saturday with the Kings winning 5-4 in a shootout. I’m not tipping this game.
So Flames 3 way ?
