10 games yesterday. Had 1 tip that was a loss.  And for me a reminder why I don’t like the Predators.

After having their win streak snapped at 10 games the Sabres got back in the win column beating the Canucks 5-3 which was Vancouvers 4 loss in a row.  The Canes beat the Stars 6-3.  Lightning won their 8th in a row when they beat the leagues best Avalanche 3-2.

The Isles kicked the ass off of the Devils 9-0 and Sorokin made 44 saves in the shutout.  Matthews scored again, he now has 6 in last 3 games, when the Leafs beat the Panthers 4-1.

Just 5 games today.

Stars vs Capitals

Last played at the start of the season on October 28th with the Stars winning 1-0.

The Stars played yesterday so not much else to say about them.  They have lost 6 straight.

The Capitals are 4-4-2 in last 10 and not exactly playing well enough for me to tip them.

Flames vs Canadiens

Last played on October 22nd with the Habs winning 2-1.

Flames have lost their last 2 games losing against the Kraken, when I tipped the Flames as the data backed it,  and the Preds.  After that game against the Kraken where they looked flat after scoring the first goal I’m going to avoid tipping them at the moment. They have been lousy on the road with a 6-13-2 record.

The Canadiens have been playing well and are 6-2-2 in last 10.  They haven’t been great at home going 10-9-1

Flames on skid so nope and Habs would have to be in regulation and 3 of last 5 went to extra time so no tip here.

Blues vs Blackhawks

Last played December 12th with the Blues winning 3-2.

These teams have basically the same record with the Blues in 6th in the Central going 17-18-6 and the Hawks 7th in the Central going 17-18-7

On the road the Blues are 7-9-3 and the Hawks are 9-8-4 at home.  So either gives me any hope.

Long time rivals and this should be a good game but I have no idea who wins it.

Senators vs Mammoth

Last played on November 9th with the Sens winning 4-2.

The Sens are dealing with Ullmark being out and he’s a huge loss for them.  They’re 6-3-1 in last 10 and 10-8-2 at home.

The Mammoth are a .500 team this season going 20-20-3.  They’re 5-5 in last 10 and 9-7-1 at home.

With both teams playing just above .500 based on where they are playing I find it very tough to pick a winner here.

Sharks vs Kings

Last played on November 20th with the Sharks winning 4-3.

The Sharks just played yesterday.

The Kings have won 2 in a row.  Normally when a team is playing at home that usually works in their favor but thats not the case here for the Kings.  They havent been very good at home going 7-9-4.

With the Sharks just playing I can’t tip them and the Kings home record isn’t good so it’s a pass for me here.

Inclined to think a clear option is Montreal to win Moneyline. They’re at home and hot and Calgary never is, plus the Flames are horrid on the road. Flames have little speed to deal with the Habs many talents. I suspect that Flames chemistry/moral is low due to imminent major trades.

Full game OVER 5.0: Ottawa/Utah

Tie in Regulation options:
SJ/LA, StL/Chi, Ott/Utah
I like the SJ option most for what could be a close and well defended game, but it’s Wednesday and all three might happen. Play money options there. Patience is a better’s wise coach.

I don’t like the matchups in terms of trying to find many player props.
