FYI I was in NYC yesterday and holy crap – that was an immense experience.
Not a Knicks fan but I really hope they win the Championship as it was such a crazy party atmosphere last night.
What a comeback.
Onto hockey:
Scott: The Canes got a big game from their captain, who scored twice, and opened the scoring and added another only 1:22 later.
With the series now back in Carolina I would think the Canes would have the edge but they did lose one to these Knights in game 1. And they have traded wins until now. I feel better going with what has been the case in this final with high scoring and exciting games. If this is the first game to go under then so be it as its bound to happen but until it does.
Over 6 incl OT
Graeme: Truthfully betting wise I’m feeling pretty good about winning every game so far and don’t want to push it. I probably won’t actually bet today but I would advise Over 6 incl OT because hell why not
Both teams score and both can be scored on, they’re both fast, take shots, make plays, so I see the Over 5.0 as still a good base and Over 6.0 likely solid. I would not think so for a Game 7, and a Game 6 Under is also a possibility, depending if one team gets a 2-goal lead, they may clamp down, but with this matchup, that’s difficult to do.
Can’t take any props, because the fine-tuning of line against line is going to shift tactics and player results. Still looking though, for props picks.
