Well yesterday sucked.
Wild went behind big time hard – managed to log 47 SOG and just the one goal. Shesterkin just had a freaking game.
Habs/Sharks was looking on track to go over but unfortunately fell apart in the 3rd.
Stars blew a 2-0 lead, and allowed the Sharks to get back into it in the 3rd, tying it up with 5 minutes left.
It happens – the joys of betting hockey. It also sucks. Hate nights like that where it just feels like nothing is going your way.
No bets today.
Typical Sunday, plus the compressed schedule and we have back-to-backs and 3in4s making most games a joke.
Florida just had 2 days off but are on a 3-hour time change on the west coast, are very inconsistent and Seattle doesn’t show me anything to bet on as a matchup. Both teams have tomorrow off and likely won’t care about this game at all. Seattle has playoff hopes, but today is just blah all over. Players must be so sick of this season’s experience! I think the NHL is in some trouble, the quality of play is dropping and now they want Olympics and “best on best” tournaments every other year, but haven’t suggested how they’ll avoid compressing the schedule. Yikes!
Oilers off a busy road trip, first game back, full of defensive holes, inconsistent on offense, and I have no idea if Nashville has any integrity, so the full game Over doesn’t look secure. Even Over 5.0, while tempting, just not worth it.
