5 games yesterday.
The Pens were down 3-1 but went on to score the next 7 and won 8-3 and with the win passed the Isles to move into 2nd. Gudas dressed for the Ducks when they played the Leafs, who just fired their GM Treliving, fought Domi to start the game and the Leafs won 5-4 in OT.
Celebrini became the 6th teenager to reach 100 points in a season and his Sharks beat the Blues 5-4. Tortorella made his debut as coach of the Knights and they beat the Canucks 4-2.
10 for us tonight. With the playoffs coming up fast it’s tougher to find games to tip.
Devils vs Rangers
Devils just beat the Hawks and haven’t yet been eliminated. They are in 13th in the East and are 10 points back.
The Rangers have won 2 in a row but it’s all for nothing as they have been eliminated already.
I’m passing.
Islanders vs Sabres
The Isles played yesterday. They had a 2 goal lead and lost 8-3. What the actual fuck?
The Sabres are in 2nd in the Atlantic now. With both teams not yet clinched this should be a good game.
I would lean towards the Sabres but I’m instead passing as the Isles have to be embarrassed after that shitshow from last night and must have a better effort here.
Stars vs Bruins
Stars have clinched a spot. They are behind the Avalanche and ahead of the Wild.
The Bruins are on a 3 game streak and are in 7th in the East. They are only 2 points back of the Canadiens but have played one extra game than they have.
The Bruins have more to play for here than the Stars do so I do expect a good game from them.
Wings vs Penguins
Big game here for both teams.
The Wings are in 10th but only 2 points back of the wild card. Haven’t been great over last 10 games but can still salvage their season.
The Penguins played yesterday and went off for 8 goals.
Both teams need these points. They shouldn’t leave anything back which makes it tough to call.
Canadiens vs Lightning
The Habs are on fire at the moment winning their last 5 games. They are in 3rd in the Atlantic and have a 2 point lead over the Bruins. They are 4 points back of these Lightning who are in 1st.
This should be a great game and one that will go a long way towards deciding who will win the division.
Flyers vs Capitals
11th ane 12th in the East here. Both teams are close and within 3 points for the Flyers and 5 for the Caps.
Could go either way.
Senators vs Panthers
The Sens aren’t helping themselves right now. They have lost 2 games in a row and are sitting in 9th place in the East. They are only 2 points back of the Jackets who are in 8th.
The Panthers are in 15th in the East. They haven’t yet been eliminated but they have so much ground to make up that its basically over for them. They have lost their last 3 games so I’m avoiding them.
I would think the Sens win this but it would have to be in regulation and with them on a 2 game skid I’m passing.
Hurricanes vs Jackets
Canes are in 1st in the Metro and tied with the Lightning for 1st overall in the Eastern Conference. They have an 8 point lead over the 2nd place Penguins.
Jackets on a 3 game losing skid. They are in the final wild card spot but have only a 2 point lead over the Senators.
These teams playing each other again on Thursday.
Jets vs Blackhawks
The Jets still have a chance and if they are to make the playoffs then they for sure will need to beat the Blackhawks here.
Hawks have been eliminated so nothing to say there. On a 3 game skid.
Jets are 5-3-2 in last 10 and looking ahead their schedule is pretty tough with the Stars and Jackets up next. They have to win this game.
They last played in January and the Jets won that one 3-2 in OT. Despite that I still think the Jets will be ready and will compete until they are eliminated. Better in the expected categories too like CF, CA, SF, GF and XGF.
Jets win in regulation

Kraken vs Oilers
The Kraken really need to win this game as they are starting to fall out of the picture. They are 3-5-2 in last 10 and are in 10th in the West 2 points back of the Preds.
The Oilers are in 2nd in the Pacific and right in the mix with the Ducks in front and the Knights behind them.
Should be a battle here. The Kraken still have a shot and with them playing the Knights twice before the season ends this could be a preview of a playoff matchup.
