One more game before we move onto the finals.

It’s been a crazy series between these two, and I really hope we get an all-out competitive battle to end it.

You do have to think that a team like the Carolina Hurricanes are salivating at these two, and the messy games they have had.

A triple sweep for the Canes would not surprise me at all.

Let’s focus on this one:

Sabres vs Canadiens Game 7 Betting Tips:

Scott: They blew that huge chance. Things aren’t looking great for Montreal after game 6. They looked off and tried and the score was embarrassing. The Sabres were down 3-1 and won 8-3. Lyon allowed the 3 goals on 4 shots before getting pulled for Luukkonen.

The Sabres kicked the shit out of the Canadiens in game 6. My pick of the Canadiens is in trouble. The Sabres went 4-6 on the powerplay so the Habs need to stay out of the box. I’m not touching a winner for this game. Montreal needs scoring and to get one past Luukkonen so I’ll with Demidov at least 1 point. He has points in his last 4 games and has 5 shots in each of the last 2.

Graeme: I’m with Scott on Demidov. I spent a lot of time exploring advanced metrics yesterday, and I feel more comfortable with the Habs on the road in this spot. I’ve cashed in on Demidov a couple of times, and looking at the metrics happy to continue that.

Big v

First period over has hit every game a believe. I don’t like taking over / under in playoff games but this one seems like an obvious over or alternate over

Jores

With how the Habs played Game 7 vs the Bolts… boy, scary

I say the Sabres win by 5-4 after dramatic OT

Rofl. Demi it is for me as well, missed the opportunity in the last game, I’m sure he’ll come through again.
Yea, habs in lethal trouble, albeit they do perform better on the road, just don’t have enough confidence in either team; could go either way. I just hope Demi delivers (as early as possible) so I may blatantly enjoy the rest of the game. =)

I don’t think Buffalo won that last game nearly as much as Montreal gave it away. Minus their powerplay goals and the empty net goal, Buffalo was not in charge, and then Montreal decided the third period wasn’t fun, they had a temper tantrum and threw their rattles on the floor. The parade to the penalty box, with the third period misconducts, was not worthy of a third round team.

With that kind of nonsense possible, I have no idea who wins this game, I don’t care, and am not betting the O/U either. I want the better hockey team to prevail and do well in the third round, so that remains to be resolved.

I’ll look again at player props for shots, but shots only. This game could go 9-4 or 3-1.
