The Anaheim Ducks tied up the series 1-1 yesterday against the Knights with a 3-1 win.
And the Buffalo Sabres had a big start to the series as they thumped the Montreal Canadiens 4-2.
For Thursday May 7th we have just the one match-up. Carolina lead 2-0 after one dominant game, and one tighter game, as they head to Philly for Game 3.
The Flyers really need to win this one so will be feeling the pressure just a tad.
Flyers vs Hurricanes Game 3 Betting Tips:
Scott: The Flyers had a 2-0 lead but the Canes managed to tie it and force overtime and win it 3-2. The Canes were down 2-0 and that was their first time losing during a game in this postseason.
Now that they won both games in Carolina, the series now moves to Philadelphia for games 3 and 4. With the Canes still undefeated in these playoffs I do expect them to have another strong game. But it would have to be in regulation and after last game I have to stay away. With the Flyers at home they know it’s all in now so I’ll take Konecny at least 1 point
Graeme: I definitely liked what I saw from Philly more in that last game. They stepped it up and created a lot of good chances. I think that can bode well for them here.
I’m going back and forth on this one as I do enjoy the over 5.5 at 2.20 odds. Despite solid defence on both sides, I have to think this is a more open game. But I do like the odds of a Philly win too at 2.40.
I’m going to go with Over 5.5 goals on this one as I think we can see both outcomes and the game go over.
