Two dominant victories last night.

The Montreal Canadiens bounced back from a big loss to the Sabres, to really make the series interesting, with a resounding 5-1 victory over Buffalo.

The Vegas Knights also got off to a great start and completely killed the game early, as they ran roughshod over the Anaheim Ducks 6-2.

Both road victories too, which is impressive.

Tonight we have two games as we see Game 4 in the Flyers vs Hurricanes, and Game 3 in Wild vs Avalanche.

Flyers vs Hurricanes Game 4 Betting Tips:

Scott: The Canes special teams managed to help them pick up the win. They scored 2 powerplay goals and 1 short handed goal and have a 3-0 lead in the series.

They have won 7 games in a row now and its hard to see this going any other way. I had picked them to win the series and went with them to do it in 5 games. Would need the Flyers to win here for that to happen but it’s really tough to bet against them right now. He was held pointless for them in game 3 but Hall has had points in all 6 games before so I’ll go with him to get back on the board.

Taylor Hall to register at least 1 point

Graeme: A real disappointing series for Philly. I wouldn’t say Carolina have been lucky at all – more just they have definitely been a bit fortunate at times.

It’s hard to see Philly pull off a miracle now but can they at least win one game, and avoid a sweep? I really don’t know. Feels like a good moment for the heads to be down.

Based on what we have seen so far, Canes are good for a couple of goals. Purely because he tends to go on little streaks, I’ll go with Ehlers at least one point at 1.76.

Wild vs Avalanche Game 3 Betting Tips:

Scott: Game 2 was another high scoring game it didn’t quite hit the 15 goal game 1. The Avalanche now have a 2-0 and head to Minnesota for games 3 and 4.

If the Wild are to win a game it has to be this one or they face getting swept. They have been in each game so far just lost by a couple each time.

Wild win incl OT

Graeme: Wild have to be scratching their heads. They can’t stop this Avs offense, but when they went toe to toe with them in Game 1, they scored 6 but still lost.

I think that’s their only strategy though; rely on the goalie, and just go all out offensive. Especially at home where they were good for at least 3 every game against Dallas.

Over 6.5 incl OT

Carolina moneyline. I can’t see that Philly is in any condition to take a game. First rank pick. The game probably goes Under 7, so maybe a parlay add there.

Colorado is a likely win, but Minnesota may be able to take one game and I’ll avoid this game. Over/Under could be at risk of breaking the pattern. I’d expect Colorado to clearly win puckline next game but not tonight. If Minnesota opens up the play, that gives the goal count upward pressure. Today I just don’t feel much clarity.
